I was truly let down - the images do not accurately depict the reality. The location is quite remote, which wasn't apparent at the time of reservation. It's not in proximity to the Dam as anticipated. For a family visit, the value simply wasn't there.

On arrival, we were welcomed in the friendliest way possible. The accommodation was amazing and the campsite is beautiful and very well maintained. The artistic decor was a sight for sore eyes. The activities advertised was not available during our visit and that was a bit frustrating Overall, I was impressed and will recommend Siloam to anyone

The room was nice and clean with a huge bed. The pool was a welcome respite from the heat. The place is being rebuilt after a fire and so does not offer full facilities and in terms of self-catering only offered a braai and microwave (no stove/hob to cook on or communal kitchen to use), but it was a pleasant stay.

Friendly reception and clean rooms. But noise from pump switching on and off through the night made out stay less enjoyable.
