A very quiet forested camp near a lovely beach.
Situated in tall forest 500m from a small cove and behind a rocky, heath covered headland. Specific sites are reasonably separated by bush. Good shade from tall Silvertop Ash and Red bloodwood with a thin understory of melaleuca and scrub. One site is reserved for overnight camping. Tank water Wallabies and wombats are common. There was a shipwreck here in 1837; the 13 survivors had to walk almost to Eden. There are a few beautiful coastal walks from here, varying from 500m to 6.5km taking in coastal scrub and beaches.
This campsite is in Croajingolong National Park Largely undeveloped, the Park features rocky points, tall sand dunes, estuaries, coastal forests, grass tree plains and extensive heathlands. More Information...
