The camp host is hard to find most times but she makes everything happen and this wooded location is ideal if you are visiting all the P.W. sites. Big 45' buses did fit but it's tight.

If ever you are stopping in Pawhuska, OK - say to visit Dee Drummond’s Pioneer Woman Merchantile - then Settle Inn is ideal. This campground is just a 5 minutes drive from Pawhuska, yet is situated in the middle of a working cattle ranch. Nestled amongst the hardwood trees, Settle Inn offers quiet nights free from street lights, busy highways, or noisy neighbors. My wife and I slept like the dead, and in the morning woke to the sound of stirring cattle, migrating geese, and calling birds of every ilk. Your host is a charming young lady who clearly puts her heart into this campground. This is what campgrounds were before corporations took over the landscape. Family owned, diligently maintained, and offering memorable, special experiences to their guests. My site, number 5, was a pull through gravel, yet level, drive. All hook-ups are within 5-feet of your rig; no extended lines nor hoses required. In the center of the campground is a pavilion where last night a crackling fire provided a congregating welcome to the guest. After 10-days of Arctic weather and heavy snows, we needed a relaxing weekend, and we got it. Why four stars? Though we didn’t need them, all showers were closed and only one unisex bathroom was in operation, likely as a result of the winter weather. Still, to get a 5-star rating, all facilities should be open and in operation. Stay here again? You bet! Recommended? Absolutely!

This is a good RV park for exploring Pawhuska and Osage County. Set off the main road, the park is very quiet. Heavily wooded, yet easy to maneuver, even in a big rig. The park is laid out on hilly ground, but every site is nicely leveled with well-maintained hook ups. There's a small playground for the kids, and even a few storm shelters sprinkled around the park. The park host, Julie, is very friendly, but not always responsive by phone when checking on availability. The sites vary in size - some have plenty of yard space, others have very small spaces. Julie greeted us upon arrival, and then we were able to pay by dropping an envelope into the drop box. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

I wanted to stay here because of its proximity to Pawhuska. The campground is small but has enough room. Well kept. Julie, the camp host, is very friendly and helpful. AT&T reception was very good but there’s no WiFi. My only negative was that my site was level, but I had to back up a small hill to connect to my camper. A little longer flat area would have been easier. There was a large field in front, which was nice for exercising my dogs. There’s a little bit of road noise from State Hwy 99, but not enough to keep you awake at night.

This park was a nice, quiet place to stay just a few minutes from Pawhuska (and the Pioneer Woman Mercantile). We would definitely stay again!

This park is very dog friendly. All breeds and all amounts of dogs They have a nice area for dogs to run wild. It’s not fenced but the park is off the highway. Very nice small park. While spots are close they are staggered so you’re not on top of each other Has all hook ups. You get a dollar off if your over 55. Owner very nice and helpful.

This was our only acceptable choice with FHU's to visit Pawhuska. The park is very small and heavily treed, but we did get satellite. Sites are gravel and sloped but each has a level high spot. The strangest part of this park is getting a reservation. It is self pay when you arrive. Reservations are done by texting the host. We never saw anyone. Seniors save a $1, cash is another $1 off, cable is now $3. The park is quiet only 2 miles from town.
