We spent only one night in the campground and were very glad that it was only one night. We have two dogs. The campground is not dog friendly - there is no grass in the campground and no path walks outside the camp. At the time we were there, the campground's roads were very muddy. THe majority of the sites are seasonal and they are located in the upper nicer section of the campground. There are only few sites for temporary visitors, which are mostly located at the lower section of the campground, which has no grass and very dusty, surrounded by ugly fence. In spite of the campground's name, there is no views of any sort. We have some video footage of this campground on our YouTube channel - Summertime RV Rovers - Campgrounds in Tennessee and West Virginia. We camped at Rocky Top Campground in a Motorhome.

Charming campground. Wooded, tiered sites. Well maintained. Immaculate bathrooms. Easy access from interstate, without road noise. Loved Site 16.

Keep in mind this place is adults only, not as in clothing optional but no kids allowed. I’m totally fine with that as there’s a nice KOA less than a half mile away if you have kids. We stayed here one night on a trip to southern TN. It’s a very nice and quiet campground which is perfect for us. They have FHU (30A) and cable TV which was a bonus. Site 29 is a pull through and very level. Shower house/bathroom is very clean and hot water was quick to come. Very convenient to I-81 and Bristol/Kingsport. Would be a great base camp for race weekends without noise all night long. Wi-Fi is good, strong enough at site 29 to stream our TV.

We enjoyed our stay here. Its quite the climb up the moutain, for a short distance,to get to sites but nothing to bad. Pull through site was fine, host and services were good. Only warning is for big rigs on the way out to the main road: tail dragged the ground . We would stay again.

Just the most perfect little campground. They were able to fit us in at a moment’s notice, and it was a pleasure from beginning to end. Great way to spend our Thanksgiving. Deb and Garry are excellent hosts. The sites are clean and well kept. Bathrooms are spotless. The ambience is rustic and charming AF.

This is a small campground but very well cared for with pride of ownership showing. As we were leaving, we saw them get out a compactor to recompact some of the gravel sites keeping them level. This is a real help when you are only staying one night. My only complaint would be the huge hill on the way there and in the campground itself. Other than that, it was quite nice.

Very well maintained, friendly owner, adult atmosphere. No playground or pool, but a pay Sauna. We had a level pull thru, which we had an escort to. Not a big place, but laid out nice. Very clean shower / restroom. Small laundry room but new machines. Full hookups, cable. Wifi OK. We had easy access from I 81.

We only stayed here overnight while on the road but were very happy with our stay. Check-in was easy and friendly, and our pull-through site was fairly level and plenty long for our motorhome and towed car. There are some steep hills on the short drive to the campground, and very steep hills inside the campground. Fortunately we were able to avoid the very steep hill inside the campground by following the owner's advice and driving into a different area, turning around, and heading back through our pull-through site and out the entrance. This is a very small campground, so there are not many places to walk our dog, but the price was great and we'd return here for another overnight in the future. Since it's so small, reservations are recommended. Verizon and AT&T both had strong signals but data was a bit slow on both.
