We only lodged for a single evening, however, we plan to return if we're nearby in the future.

This campground is part of a municipal park that includes a large public pool with lots of activities for kids, a golf course and a clubhouse restaurant. You register at the clubhouse. The person we registered with admittedly said they did not know much about the campground and they are taking reservations online so they weren’t sure about what was available. They did drive by later to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. There are some full hook-up sites, water and electric, and some tent sites. The park was clean but needs some new picnic tables. Originally we were to occupy site 17 but it was on a hill. We went back to the clubhouse and requested site 16, right next to a lovely pond. You can hear trains nearby but since it is summer we keep a fan going and didn’t have any problems with noise. There is a couple who are regulars at the park who get pretty smashed. There was some loud yelling and the police were called by the park. After that it was pretty quiet and peaceful.

We have stayed twice at this campground both times in space 13- August 6 and again October 9, 2021. Both times have been great experiences. In August the campground was almost full but plenty of space is between the campsites with nice shade trees. In October, we were one of only three campers there. Both times were quiet and peaceful stays. In August, the swimming pool in the park was in use and full of laughter and music. With the AC in use, we were not bothered by that and when it closed, the area was very quiet. I believe all are full hookup sites but there is an RV dump site and a trash dumpster available. We will definitely come back to this campground in the future. We did have good Verizon coverage but I did not notice the number of bars.
