Just a little parking lot on the river. Right near entrance to Rails to Trails that goes all the way to Tallahassee. $25 for overnight parking, you are supposed to pay at Riverside Cafe. When we went to pay, the employees working didn’t know what to do with the money and the manager wasn’t there. We just asked for a receipt and put in our dash.

This parking area belongs to the Riverside Cafe. There is ample room for more than one RV and 2 entrances that make it big rig friendly. The setting on the shore of the St. Marks river is serene, the river here is a no wake zone so boat motor noise is minimal. The location is almost right across the street from the southern end of the 16 mile Tallahassee-St. Marks Historic Railroad State trail, a paved, sweet rail trail for runners, walkers & bikers. This is also within walking distance of the historic San Marcos de Apalache Historic State Park at the confluence of the St. Marks and Wakulla Rivers. You might hear some music from the Riverside Cafe at night. During our first trip to Florida, this was one of the most memorable places we stayed & ended up here due to another targeted location getting too much rain to access with our big rig. We actually returned to park here for awhile during an afternoon just to enjoy the setting on our return trip through the area. The parking area is dirt and grass with a few picnic tables. Unknown if tenting is permitted.
