Paradise Shores RV Park and Resort is conveniently situated close to many High Sierra attractions. This area is one of the most spectacular in the world and offers exceptional recreational activities. Yosemite NP, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono, June, and Twin Lakes, as well as the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from our park. Water skiing, sailing, mountain biking, road biking, hiking, atving, and fishing, are all readily available right from the property. Did we mention the world-class trout fishing? Our stay at Paradise Shores couldn't have been better. We first heard about Paradise Shores from some new friends and their recommendation didn't disappointed. We road tripped up to Bridgeport With another set of friends, when we arrived a small storm was just coming in so we enjoyed the evening indoors. When we woke up we had about 3" of fresh snow and were in a winter wonderland next to Bridgeport Reservoir. By the afternoon the snow was gone the sun came out and the wild flowers we visible. We spent our second evening around the community campfire and enjoyed some time with all our new friends and the owners of Paradise Shores. We would highly recommend a stay here as the owners are very hospitable and accommodating. Can't wait to come back again.

This is an amazingly beautiful little RV park right on the Bridgeport reservoir. There is parking for just about any sized RV, plus the tent spots are really amazing being closest to the water. There are a handful of permanent RVs for rent that are neatly decorated and fun. The entire place is clean and super quiet. We are here at the first of the season and during the week so it’s pretty quiet. There are so many things to see and do that there are few around during the day, leaving the kayaks and surfboards for anyone to enjoy on the water while everyone else is away! Being early May the snowy Sierra Nevada is stupendous and surrounds you on one side. On the other is the drier high altitude mountains of the gold mining camps where there are amazing sites to explore. It has been a cold 25F in the morning but as high as 80F today. The winds have been blowing on and off until today and it’s gotten quite warm. The owners are Alan and Veronika and are warm and friendly. Being so early in the season and with the winds there have been few campfires; maybe tonight! A few practical things: there are some small food mart / gas station / deli places in Bridgeport but no grocery or drug stores. The closest larger market is probably Lee Vining. Also, if you are checking weather in prep for your holiday be sure to have the correct Bridgeport, CA. There are 3 and one isn’t that far away but has very different weather! We made the mistake of bringing 90degF weather clothes, not 65F with 25F lows! The WiFi is good but I wouldn’t use it for streaming; we listened in on a Zoom conference and had several times we missed key things. There is almost no AT&T signal; only 4G with a WeBoost and barely useable - but we had WiFi so it was fine. There is no cable or broadcast TV available.
