Great campground with large sites. Most of the sites are not level for RVs and those with a large rig may have a hard time. Each site has a fire pit and a picnic table. The camp host was very nice and had firewood for sale. The vault toilets were the cleanest and nicest smelling I have ever encountered. But..... I would recommend picking a site that isn’t too close to one. We were right across from one and would occasionally get a nice poo breeze through our site 🤢. Sites 4-8 have a neighborhood road behind them with a fair amount of traffic. Also, the water hydrants do not have the threaded connection, so filling up our RV tank was a slow process.

The campground is well maintained and well managed, with a friendly and efficient campground host. The campground is meant for campers (mostly tents, but can accommodate RVs). RVs are not supposed to run generators. Site 9 looked to be phenomenal. Our site, 8, was unfortunately too close to a family of four that felt no need to observe quiet hours. In addition, there is a road that runs behind sites on that side of the campground and traffic noise was very loud. The pit toilets were well-maintained and clean. There are dumpsters for trash and at this time, potable water. Some sites have very little level ground. Even our tent pad was uneven.

There are portable water spickets throughout the camp site and the Verizon 4G signal is weak but I was able to get on the internet and watch a little Netflix. The pads are not level so, bring some blocks. The vault toilets are clean. The fee here is $23 per night.... half off with the Senior Pass.

Most sites are large and shaded with a fire ring with grill on top. Camp hosts are very nice and helpful. Vault toilets are cleaned daily. No water or showers. Can go right down the road to Bristlecone Campground and shower for $5. Very quiet. Very conveniently located to lots of things. 1/2 off camping with National Parks Pass. Painted rocks were cool. Had no problems with Verizon service.
