We zijn zeer positief verrast op een camping waar we onze eigen plek konden uitzoeken. Aan de kant van het eiland waar de oesters geoogst worden. Voor een zandstrand moet je even rijden (auto of fiets of gratis streekbus die voor de ingang stopt). Daardoor ook lekker rustig qua verkeer langs de camping (goed slapen!). Sanitair brandschoon, zeer vriendelijk ontvangst, brood service, lekker verwarmd zwembad. Bijzonder dat er voor ons zo maar plek was! Ile d'oleron heeft leuke karakteristieke trekjes. Hier en daar iets gedateerd en matige wegen, maar een heerlijk eiland met voor ieders wat wilS. Ook grappig om het via TV bekende fort Boyard van dichtbij te zien (je kan er niet in). Voor ons een aanrader, de camping zeker!
