We signed up to stay here back in February at an RV show and were excited to get to go camp on the Chesapeake Bay. This campground is directly on the bay. It has a nice sandy beach area. It was packed, but it was also July 4th weekend. The campground has a nice camp store and bath house facilities were nice. It is predominately setup for seasonal campers, but they all were quite friendly to us transient campers. The BIG drawback is drainage. We had a lot of rain this weekend and you end up with standing water. When we first got there, they had had rain the day before, so the gravel pad you normally would park on was a 3rd under water, we had to park diagonally across the site so when you step out the door, you don't step into standing water. I had to setup all the hooks up in about 2 inches of water. Walking around the campground, most sites are like this. If it hadn't been for the rain/water, this wouldn't be a half bad campground, but that was just very unpleasant, and you have to account for rain. Other thing is, there was no cell service on ATT.
