This place is a zoo with kids running around on golf carts and majority of people with permanent places. Lots of drinking. Staff impossible to reach. BIG speed bumps that we saw bottom out one camper. Not a recommend.

Awful! It’s rundown and very cramped. Not what it used to be at all. Would not recommend.

This campground is a fun, convenient spot to camp. It has a pool, game room, water access and is close to groceries and restaurants. It is also just a few minutes to Homassassa Springs by boat and that's a great place to hang out. They will allow you to use 4-wheelers as long as you stay under the 5 mph speed limit. This allowed us to use the 4-wheeler to load/unload the jet ski. I would say it is very family friendly, but we went with some others who didn't think that was the case. It has a bar/restaurant at the boat ramp. While, I thought it was great, my friends didn't. They have a lot of waterfront spots, but most are taken by long-term residents and those that you can rent are very tight. The dock is public, so if you have a waterfront site, you won't have much privacy. We have been here several times and our only complaint is the dock space. The space behind your campsite is supposed to be for your boat, but a lot of people have boats that are wider than their site (very tight) so it spills over into your dock space. It can be difficult at times. If you camp away from the water, the site are much more roomy. Overall, though, it's a fun place.

We were put back in the F section. Sites so close together our awning almost touched the motor home in front. Neighbors behind were so cramped they couldn't get their awning out or sit outside. Mostly gravel to track inside. Wi fi not working. Many perm/seasonals some pretty run down and junky appearance. A lot of partyers in this park. Tiki bar with live music pretty lively and kayak launch convenient. We would not stay here again or recommend.

Stayed here for 3 weeks - sites all seemed mostly level. The area near us (72 and 74X) nearer to the front entrance seemed quieter than the area down by the marina and the bar/restaurant. I was able to launch my kayak for $5 from the boat launch at the marina, which was great! It is probably a 30-40 min paddle to Homosassa Springs one way. For those who want to go to the springs - turn right out of the boat launch, go under the overpass, and turn left at the first branch. No wifi internet at the sites - I used my Verizon and AT&T hotspots to work remotely (Verizon was stronger than AT&T, but both worked fine), and I could stream Netflix using 2 bars on my Verizon phone. Supposedly there is internet at the clubhouse, but my parents couldn't get it to work. Cable tv had mixed success - even though next door to my parents, I had fuzzy tv but lots of channels, and they had clear tv with a handful of channels. Sites are a little small, but everyone was respectful and friendly. A little older amenities, but everything was very clean. All in all, I would stay here again.

Large park. The roads are a little tight but the sites are nice. Nice marina. Lots to do. Nice people.

It’s much more expensive then compendium says. Rates are $53 per night non-waterfront and $63 per night waterfront. That’s pretty expensive for a sandlot. That’s why I have not stayed there.
