We camped over the Labor Day holiday. The park appears to have made some major upgrades to the showers and rest rooms as all were either recently remodeled or brand new. Everything was clean and stocked. The park was full for the holiday weekend and there was entertainment throughout the weekend. Our neighbor had an electrical issue with their RV and the staff was eager to assist with his issue. We had a little problem pulling into our pull through site as our 33' 5th wheel was a bit too long to make the turn in. We backed in from the other side without issue. The woman in the office was nice and friendly. The Saturday night bingo game was very well attended and the grand prize was over $1000. We had a great time. We will stay again next season.

The website looked great. But on arriving we were told that we couldn’t take our motorcycle in or out if the campground. We would have to park it at the front of the park and walk the 1/2 km whenever we wanted to go somewhere. It doesn’t say that anywhere on the website. But ok. That’s their rule. Problem is that while a motorcycle is not ok. Golf carts going fast as they can are driven up and down the road all day and night. And by night the mostly local, seasonal campers are all roaring drunk, riding around with no lights. Says they’re on a river. But you can’t swim in it. Says there’s fishing but it’s a swamp. Won’t be back.
