About Monks Holiday Park
Monks Holiday Park is situated on the edge of the lovely Knysna Lagoon and is within walking distance of town. Self Catering accommodation is offered in either chalets or caravans. There are 22 sites all with electricity and clean ablutions. Knysna is situated on the banks of a beautiful lagoon and is surrounded by lush indigenous forests, tranquil lakes and golden beaches. Chalets: The chalets are self-contained with a separate bathroom, toilet and kitchenette. Each is equipped with cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils, gas stove, fridge, kettle, TV, toaster and bedding. The large chalets have bedrooms with the facilities. Linen is provided but guests need to bring their own towels. There are three chalets, one sleeps 4 guests, the second sleeps 5 guests and the third sleeps 6 guests. Cabins (type 1 - 3): There are three cabins, the first one is a caravan with a wooden cabin attached and includes a bathroom / toilet, this sleeps 5 guests. The second sleeps 5 guests and is just a caravan with a wooden cabin attached. The third is only a caravan and sleeps 2 guests. Each caravan has a fridge, gas stove, cutlery and kitchen utensils. Both ablution blocks serve caravanners, although some caravans do have their own private bathroom and toilet. Guests need to bring their own bedding and towels.
