The campground has vault toilets and potable water but no other amenities. Many sites are along the river which depending on the season may be loud with high flows. The highway and railroad are also adjacent so there is a some additional noise. I'd say if you enjoy sitting by a river this is a good destination campground otherwise it's not a great destination. It's a good campground if you are here for other recreational activities or for a night while passing through.

We were camped on side with no hook up. I heard and saw a river on both sides of the camp. Their website said 18.00, I see that has been changed. There was train track, I heard the train one time. I had cell phone service. Consumer cellular, which plays off any tower.

There are two separate camping areas: riverside and woods near the railroad tracks. The Riverside camping spots cost $28/ per night and the Wood area is $25/ per night. Each site has raised and level spaces for tents, a picnic table and fire pit. The park could use some maintenance, but overall a beautiful place to camp among old growth trees. There is potable drinking water and grey water disposal stations throughout the campground. There are about 30 campsites. We would definitely camp here again.

Love, Love, Love MoneyCreek. Been coming here for decades. Just outside of a wellstocked and easy access gas station and quaint town, sitting right on river. No electric, but RV sites too. One of my top 10 favs, will prob spend a month here over camping season. Will be there opening week. Stay here!!!

Another gem in my never-ending quest to find all of the old growth left in Washington, Money Creek is FULL of massive Doug-firs, Western redcedars and even some nice sized hemlocks. Moss and lichen all through the undergrowth, making the sites not only stunning, but really private, too. The Hoodoo campground host--a rookie as she told me, this being her first season--was uncommonly nice (Hoodoo folks aren't mean, they're just usually really particular about every little detail). She recommended we stay in a spot that didn't have a fire pit, but I asked her if I could just try and squeeze our 50' of Airstream and van into a different, nicer spot that was only about 30' long. "Sure, let me know how it turns out," and we managed to get her in there! I didn't care, because I love the forest here so much, but note that there is a very close train that rolls through and it can be quite loud, and US 2 runs close by too. The traffic noise was heavy during the day but disappeared completely by 11pm or so. Cell service was banging like a 1990's gang member. The loop on the East Side portion of the campground, it should be noted, can be pretty tight as it lollipops at the end. We made it no problem but anything larger than us (say a 40' rockstar) might find themselves in a predicament. And if there's anywhere you don't want to find yourself, it's in a predicament. I'm going to go find myself on a river somewhere, thanks for reading and remember, only you can reduce toilet odor. Please close the lid.
