We found the camping site to be satisfactory, with ample space and friendly, effective personnel. However, the constant sound from the nearby highway, coupled with the incessant noise from parked trains that kept their engines on for extended periods, was unbearably loud to the extent that we had to raise our voices to communicate. We have decided not to return to this location.

This quaint park is conveniently located just off Interstate 40, heading east before reaching Winslow. It boasts a well-kept appearance, complete with a gravel parking lot and well-defined parking spaces. Each parking spot is equipped with a picnic table. Propane grilling is allowed outdoors. Utilities such as electricity and water are provided, although there is no sewer system. However, a dump station is available. The restrooms are clean and private, with six bathrooms featuring glass door showers. The park also offers an indoor guest lounge equipped with a television and seating area, where complimentary coffee is served from 7 to 11 in the morning. Adjacent to the lounge is a laundry room with three washers and three dryers, each costing $2.25 per cycle. The park is peaceful, with minimal road noise. The park office doubles as a convenience store and has a gas station attached. The Meteor Crater Natural Landmark is a mere five miles south of the park. With I-40 to the north, the park is surrounded by open fields, contributing to its tranquil atmosphere. Both Verizon and AT&T have good reception here. Please note that Roverpass cannot be used for reservations. Bookings can only be made through the official website or by phone.

The personnel are amiable, the place is tidy, spacious, and near both the crater and Winslow. There's minor traffic sound during the night, but it doesn't disturb my sleep.

For two decades, we've bypassed this turnoff on I40, but finally chose to explore it. The campground is predominantly gravel, with the majority of spots equipped with electricity and water, and a waste disposal area conveniently located at the back, making it ideal for a brief visit. The campground was tidy, well-maintained, featured two pleasant dog parks, and was peaceful. Although the I40 was visible from our location, its noise didn't penetrate our RV. The campground's security is ensured by entrance gates. We're certain to return for another stay. We didn't make use of the restrooms.

Quiet, though lots of yellow lights around. Various sites available last minute from tent camping, to RV water/electric and optional sewer, 30 or 50A. Campground is basically behind the Mobile gas station. No cable TV but they have one in the lobby and they have a small store as well. Coffee available there in morning. Access code needed to enter main gates. Very dark skies during New Moon, but trees are rather tall and lights are bright. Still able to take a few good Milky Way pictures here. Location is just off I40. Meteor Crater is a ways down the road from here. Well worth the visit!

Wish we could have stayed longer. (Price reflects 10% Good Sam discount.) Great showers. Each is an actual bathroom with toilet, sink and shower stall with privacy to do what you need to. Plenty of hot water and pressure. Laundry had front loaders. Nice gas/convenience store on sight. Very quiet and secure. Super dog park. Might have been some full/long time residents but all sites were clean and tidy - no junk sitting around. We’ll come back and stay here when we have more time.

Level gravel sites with plenty of room and tables. Nice dog parks. Laundry and showers are very nice. Gas station and small store on site. Meteor crater just a few miles down road and well worth the visit. Park gives you $2 discount on crater. WiFi good.

This is very well manicured and decently treed for a desert RV park in the middle of nowhere. There's reasonable spacing between sites (and we're very picky about that). Desert dirt lawns are carefully raked. There's a separate fenced off-leash dog walk. Partial or full hookups are available, plus a small tent area. We saw no long-term residents, most rigs are upscale. We paid $37 + tax for a W/E site, less 10% for Good Sam. Gravel pads are not entirely level, we were off 2" side to side. It's located just off I-40 so it's convenient, but some highway noise from the freeway, and distant train horns from the busy BNSF rail freight line can be heard. Campground WiFi delivers 5 Mbps down/2 Mbps up. We're getting 3-4 bars of Verizon 4G unboosted.

Stopped for one night. Very well kept park. 24 hr security. Friendly staff. For an RV park, the spots were nicely spaced, all had shade and picnic tables. 2 large dog walks and a grassy playground. The office/store was well stocked and even included a Gas/Diesel station which included a 5 cent discount on fuel when you stayed at the park. For the reviews that mentioned the "Dust", this is northern Arizona where we are the second largest producer of dust and wind. Our stay was a little windy but the dust was minimal for the area. Freeway noise was very light and distant train was heard during the day but the nights were quite. Within a few miles of Meteor Crater and worth the stop.

According to the staff I was a bit of an anomoly, as I was only passing through and was not there to see any of the local geological attractions. That being said, I do think that the camp was a bit over-priced for what it was. Perhaps if I were more interested in taking advantage of discounts for Meteor Crater tours, etc. it would have been a better deal. The park is entirely grave, and was very dusty. Other reviewers have mentioned that the park periodically uses water to dampen down the dust, but I did not experience that. This impacted the sense of cleanliness of the park in general, as the dust tracks in everywhere--especially the restrooms and laundry facility. There were several technical difficulties that I encountered before I was able to get settled in, and while the staff were extremely friendly it was a bit frustrating to have to move to two different sites before finally being given a site that had a functioning pedestal. Both of the sites had problems with the electricity working, and the third site I was assigned to was a 50amp site. Because of the inconvenience they did not charge me the difference between the rate for the 30amp site I reserved and the 50amp site that I ended up in. In the future, if I were going to stay here again I would just go ahead and reserve a 50amp site. These sites are on the perimeter of the park and are much more spacious than the 30amp sites in the middle of the park. The 50amp sites are even more expensive than the, what in my opinion was already overpriced, 30amp sites. I probably would only stay here again if it were exceptionally convenient given my travel plans.

We rolled in without a reservation, there were plenty of spots for us. They offer typical discounts (AAA, Good Sam’s, etc). If you don’t have any of these discount cards and plan to do the Meteor Crater tour, stapled to our ticket was a 20% off coupon to stay at this RV Park. The RV Park offers a $2 savings coupon on the tour for 2 people. They are currently working on the gas pumps so fuel was unavailable at the time of our stay. We are science nerds so we really enjoyed the Meteor Crater experience. You must take the walking tour to get the whole experience, which is included with your entrance fee. Other reviewers described specifics of the park. We are new to the RV private park experience and thought it was a good experience.

OK, so you gotta see the meteor crater & get your picture taken "standin' on the corner in Winslow Arizona" and staying here is the only option, but next time, keep rolling.... We stayed here in mid-March and it's pricey, $71.20 with tax for 2 nights, which is a bit much considering there is nothing but the crater nearby - do not buy fuel here! Get it in Winslow when you get your picture taken. The CG is all gravel, nice enough laundry with book share and TV area adjacent to the gas station/store. The meteor crater visitors center is private and they charge $30 for both of us (one senior) including the RV park discount. You may as well take the "free" meteor rim walking tour since you essentially already paid for it. I found the tour worthwhile & liked the guide. Do it once ;)

We have stayed here several times. Either to visit the crater or on our way through for a night stop. Place is very well maintained and is gated (well the site exits are wide open). The only downside is the highway noise which is pretty loud and you hear it inside the RV. They are in the process of replacing their septic tanks so no sewer at the site. It’s pricey for what you get in my option at 58.50 per night. But when your the only spot for a while then you are grateful for this park!

This is a cute, well maintained RV park literally just off Interstate 40 and about 10 minutes to the Meteor Crater with fully hookups and good cell reception (T-mobile). We arrived late. LATE-NIGHT arrivals: Go past the entrance, past the gas station and there is a dirt road that will let you in the back way. I’ve got no clue about the WiFi as the passcode was not on the site map. I’m sure they’d give it to you if you arrive during normal hours.

This was the first RV park we stayed at on our journey, it was a good overnight spot! We got there around 11pm with a reservation already made. The sky will leave you speech less, we spent an hour just looking at it! Hookups worked good, spaces were level and wide plus each spot had a table.

Stayed here 1 night after 3 nights at another RV park in Williams and, boy, was this place a breath of fresh air after the crowded RV park we stayed at earlier. The spaces are all pull-through, level, and well-spaced, with at least 10-15 feet, plus landscaping, between spaces. The staff at check-in was quick and efficient - in and out in 5 minutes and plenty of registration parking. The convenience store was well-stocked. There is a coupon on the park map you receive at registration that gets you $5 off for up to 2 adults/seniors at the nearby Meteor Crater attraction. The park is across the highway from a cell tower and I enjoyed a full-strength 4G LTE signal with Google Fi (on T-Mobile). The park's WiFi was free and fast, with excellent coverage throughout the park, although they did respectfully ask that you refrain from streaming (maybe it's satellite-based?). There are no TV hookups that I saw, but you may be able to get over-the-air channels (I didn't try). The landscaping in the park was well-kept. The spaces and public areas were all tidy and clean. The restrooms, showers, and laundry room were basic, but clean. The kids especially enjoyed the playground. There are 2 fenced dog runs for those with pups. The dump station was easy to access and had a water connection for rinsing hoses. The park was very quiet at night and I didn't even notice a late-arriving guest in a neighboring space. My only caution would be the wind...it did pick up quite a bit in late morning, enough so that it was prudent for me to stow the awning to avoid damage. The landscaping around the park does help somewhat with the wind, but it is in the middle of large, open plains and the wind does whip up quite a bit.

Quick easy check in at the gas station. Was a bit sticker shocked at the price, but we were tired and need to hook up and empty out tanks and fill our fresh water. The crater is only about 6 miles away and worth the visit, though it too was a bit pricey. Even with the coupon from the RV park it was about 30 dollars for the 2 of us.

Quiet location, not too far from Winslow and only a few miles from the Meteor Crater. It was quiet, even though it is just off of I-40. All sites and roads are gravel. Utilities all worked well. The laundry room has 4 machines, older, but clean. There is a comfortable lounge area to relax in while you wait for your laundry. This is all attached to the quirky dome shaped Gas Station mini mart. Staff was friendly & helpful.

3/14/2021 We stayed here overnight so we could hit Meteor Crater early in the morning. Sites were clean, though close together similar to a KOA. Easy access off the highway. Nice location. Full hookups. We were in a Handicapped site, Number 10 which was a pull through. In fact, all of their sites are pull through sites. No fires or charcoal grills. A locked gate prevents overnight access by those that don't belong which was a nice security feature. A fun playground for the kids. Connected to a convenience store and gas station which was convenient. We would stay here again.

We needed a place to stop and found this camp ground. It was perfect! We had a site with water/power (30 amp but we had our converter) they were pretty full but they do have FH 30/50 amp sites. There are local channels and free WiFi (not for streaming but it was good for what we used it for). The bathrooms were clean, the park is well kept and the staff is friendly. We had shade in our site. We will definitely return. Price reflects GS discount. (2 adults, 2 kids & a dog)

We love this oasis in the desert. It’s really convenient when traveling interstate 40. This is our fourth stay here. The campground is always well maintained. Our last stay was in February when we got caught in a snowstorm. The sites are large, majority are pull-thru, hook ups are easily accessed. Every time we have stayed here, the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. We have a 40 foot diesel pusher pulling a full-size Ford F250 and have no problem maneuvering through the park. It is very well laid out. I am going to rate noise only a four star. At night you can hear a train off in the distance and a little bit a noise from the freeway.

Great views of the mountains. Excellent kept RV Park. Arrived after hours, and they had everything waiting at the Kiosk. Bathroom are very nice individual rooms with shower combo. Nice coin operated laundry room. Sites are pull through grave well kept. Did have to level the travel trailer. But not much. Has a dog park, and locked gated access to th RV Park. Onsite store, with RV most need things in a pinch. Friendly staff. Can’t say enough good things about it. 1/4 mile off the highway, so you get a little road and train horn noise, but nothing a fan wouldn’t drown out of.

Arrived late afternoon and was given a free mask at the office as one of ours was left in the RV. Amanda in the office was just as pleasant in person as on the phone. Another gentleman also assisted us with all the park information we needed. The office store is well stocked and carries pretty much what you would find at a Circle-K or QT. Hookups were easy, site was a good size and park was very quiet. It was not even half full from what I could tell, although it was a Thursday night and I'm guessing due to the location, there may not be too many long term stays, but that's just a guess. Park is locked by code during the day, and locked at night with only two side gates available for an early exit prior to 7am. Having the gas station right there was fantastic, and was 10c cheaper per gallon than what we pay in Buckeye, AZ. The check-in parking lot has FREE air with a nice long hose to get to any tire on your RV. Although the paperwork given to us at the office lists around eight available free to air TV channels, we were able to tune in to over forty with our directional antenna. Free WIFI was good but is a basic service so no streaming video. Browsing the web, email, etc, works just fine. There are different prices for what the sites are equipped with. For our $45 (minus 10% discount for FMCA membership), we got a site with electricity and water, but no dump station. You can pay more for a site that also includes a dump station, but there is a free dump station at the North end of the park which we used on the way out. Laundry facilities and showers are conveniently located in the center of the park (or very close to center). We did not use these facilities. I would recommend for anyone needing a break from the road be it one night, or a few.

We only stopped to ask for water fill up because a couple of previous stops had frozen water pipes. The front office was very kind and allowed us to fill although we were not actual guests. Campsite looks very spic and span with drive through sites and nearly leveled gravel everywhere. Awesome house keeping.

Stopped for 1 night based on previous reviews. I must be getting spoiled by state park rates because 35 ,water and electric only, 40 if sewer also( includes Good Sam discount) seemed high, but really not for what you get. Site was level, with decent picnic table, it was quiet, shower rooms were private bathrooms with sink and toilet. Took a bit for water to get hot but it did and the one I was in had great pressure for long hair. Needed to do laundry 1.75 each for washer and dryer but clothes were dried all the way. They said discount on gas and map has several coupons for area including meteor crater.

For a private RV park attached to a private tourist attraction, this park was nicer than expected. The sites are decently long and wide, larger than many other private RV parks. The park is gravel, and it was very windy and dusty unfortunately. There's a gas station at the RV Park and it was not overpriced like I'd expected it to be. There are two fenced dog areas (adjacent to each other) but we also walked our dog around the campground and a bit outside the park. There are a few grassy areas in the RV Park where dogs are not allowed but the rest of the park was fine for walks. We arrived in the early afternoon and did the (fascinating) crater tour shortly after arriving, then departed the next morning. We stayed here specifically to visit the crater while traveling I-40, but we'd consider using this as a good overnight spot in the future even if we weren't visiting the crater.

Stayed 2 nights on June 6-7 to visit Meteor Crater, which was impressive. Friendly staff at check-in provided pamphlets and discount coupon to crater park as well their fuel station discount. Well spaced FHU pull-thru sites. Noise minimal from interstate traffic. Great view of snow capped Mountains in distance. Facilities clean with free morning coffee in office. Only downside is pet walk area which is all rock although they grow grass nicely in other areas of campground.

Location is excellent for going to the Meteor Crater- just 2 miles away. Only 20 minutes down the Interstate to Winslow. My shower experience wasn’t as pleasant as a previous reviewer. It took forever to get any hot water, then it was lukewarm at best. But the facility was nice and clean. My other issue was the dog exercise area. It’s basically a large patch of red dirt with a fence around it. It’s a gated camp, which is nice. There’s free WiFi. The staff was friendly. Views to the west in the evening were very pretty. There is a fair amount of noise from the interstate and from trains passing through the area day and night.

We enjoyed our stay here. Nice staff, clean and well maintained. Gravel sites with room in-between neighbors. Good wifi, no cable. Good hook-ups. Quiet and convenient location to hwy 40. Just down the road is the Meteor Crater. Nice night sky. Would definitely stay here again. Good interior roads. The only downside is it is about 19 miles into Winslow and stores. Not all sites are full hook-ups.

We first stayed here right after it opened. It continues to be our go-to park in the area. We had an excellent pull thru on the perimeter of the park. Very spacious. The internet is not for streaming. These days, that alone prevents a 5/5 rating from me. This is a great stop for an overnight visit. We visited the actual crater many years ago. We enjoyed at the time; would visit again on a more leisurely pace.

Hi, I've stayed here twice. It's in a perfect spot for my I-40 travels and I'll stay here every time! It's nice to find a good clean safe park! It's not a resort...no pool or restaurant but very nicely maintained. Lots of trees. Level sites. Some grass for the dog. Close to fwy but not too close where noise an issue. Plenty of space between sites with wide lanes. Wifi works but my ATT with only 2 bars does just fine for web browsing. Close to Meteor Crater of course and that's a fun couple hours! If your headed along I-40 take a day to stop here and see the crater!

We loved this park! We arrived around 6pm and checked in with the office. The young lady was nice and informative when we asked of places to eat in Winslow. We paid for FHUs and paid $55 & some change. They offer a Good Sam discount of 10%. The sites were clean and spaced given between each rig. There were sections give For tents. There was a nice playground, corn hole, basketball court and two laundry rooms. We were going to wash our clothes, but the one building we went to, there were only two washing machines with one being broken & we didn’t want to take all night washing our clothes. You can hear the traffic noise from I-40 but by the time we went to bed and I put our little fan on we didn’t hear it at all. Sleep well as a matter of fact! We would like to come back and stay longer so we can visit all the points of interests!

Easy check-in at the Mobil gas station and the staff was wonderful. Campground is isolated and there isn't much going on in the local area, except for Meteor Crater park of course. We stayed in pull-through full hookup site #11. Our gravel site was level and comfortable. We were there for 1 week but most folks just stay overnight and then hit the road early the next day. Electrical box had 30 & 50 amp connections but the 110 volt outlets were dead as a doornail. Free wifi worked at the site about half the time, but it was spotty at best. My AT&T phone had 3 bars and my wife's Verizon phone had 4 bars. We were able to program all of the major networks as over the air TV channels. Above average private bathrooms & showers. Laundry is available in the main building until 7:00pm. It is also available at one of the restroom locations 24 hours a day. Loud trains run in the late evenings/early mornings so make sure to wear your earplugs.

Chose this park for its proximity to Winslow. If you're going to visit the Meteor Crater, get your tickets online before you register. It will save you 20%, which is better than the Good Sams discount. Plus, you save on ticket cost when you buy online. Win! Win! Being full timers, it was time to find a park with laundry. $2.25 for washer and dryer was highest I've ever paid, but had to be done! They also allowed us to rinse the road dust of our vehicle. Road noise is a constant. Overall, nice park. Met some fun folks during our stay!
