My daughter and I stayed 2 nights in a electric tent site which was perfect for us. We stayed in the winter so the camp was empty. We used this place as a resting place so we can enjoy the rest of local sites. I will go again but next time in a cabin.

This campsite is a little bit out of town, so it was quite lovely amidst the pastures. It was a great location, halfway between Kern River Brewing and the Miracle Hotsprings. The site was tiny. We backed in our 16 foot trailer, our kids tent and car took up the rest of the space, except for the picnic table to the side. Our site had power and water. The bathrooms were big, well ventilated, and clean. Showers are free. There is a small store that sells ice and all the typical camper sundries. We could dump our tanks on our way out. The campsite fee is $42 per night but they charged us an additional $10 for the two extra people, 4 total. I would stay here again, but not in the summer when I imagine the campsite fills up. Then I think it would feel very crowded.

Site was not perfect but OK. No shadow. Enough space, nicely decorated and a small shop to but everything.

Park was ok, very dusty and a lot of thorns and stickers in out spot. None of the park had 50amp which made it tough to keep it cool in the afternoon’s. On our last night the Power keep going on and off again just making in uncomfortable when it was over 105 that day pool was small, packed and dirty. The overall park is a little ran down and out dated needs some work especially the bathrooms. Check in was perfect and plenty of room to back in. Staff was very friendly and nice probably wouldn’t stay here again but in a pinch it will work

This is the worst KOA we have ever stayed at! The campground is very poorly maintained. They have not taken the time to refresh the gravel on the roads around camp so the entire campsite is very dusty and filled with divets and potholes. We had a back-in site and the hookups are located at back of a back-in site, not on the side as they usually are, so our lines barely reached. The site was not level. The back of the site was uphill so it was impossible to level our trailer. Also, since the hookups are at the back of the site, how are you expected to dump sewer uphill? Since we couldn't dump at our site we thought we would use the camp dump station. Big mistake. The camp dump station was disgusting and backing up everywhere. We had our dog with us and wanted to take her for a walk but it was so difficult due to all the dried dog poop everywhere that was not picked up. The dog area was so filled with poop I wouldn't even take my dog in there. The campground posted a 10pm-8am quiet time. This was not enforced at all and there were people playing loud music late into the night. Given that Kern County has the highest rate of COVID cases in California, you would expect them to take some COVID precautions to keep people safe. This campground is taking none. No one is wearing masks including hosts/staff. There is no social distancing happening. The pool area had a very large gathering when we arrived with more than 10 people. This campground is a disaster and I recommend finding somewhere else to stay.

Dates stayed: March 26-30. Although we didn’t plan on it, we ended up staying here for 4 nights because we both came down with a bad cold and needed to rest. It was a great place to do so - quiet atmosphere, clean restrooms, hot showers, and very kind staff made for a relaxing stay. The place even has a pub and pizza delivered right to your site! Although we were too sick to take advantage of either, we loved the fact that it was there. Also good cell service and WiFi which allowed for lots of TV streaming while we were sick! On the day we left we removed our jacks only to realize our trailer had a flat tire. The staff were so nice about it - not only did they let us stay past the check-out date to deal with it, they helped us change the tire. Though we typically prefer boondocking and more remote camping, this was a great place given our situation. Would def stay again.
