The luxurious Kuganha Tented Camp and Spa is a tranquil safari dreamscape situated just 2.5 hours drive from Cape Town, where guests will feel a sense of exclusivity and serenity. The beautifully appointed tents are sensitively arranged amongst the thick wooded Acacia Karoo trees, with an inviting pool overlooking the Karoo veld with golden mountains on the horizon.

The 66sq foot tents offer guests sumptuous lodgings, complete with special touches unique to each tent, spilling out onto their own patios with dining pergolas just a step away. A splash pool provides the perfect vantage point for peering out into the Karoo veld, with a deck and loungers offering plenty of sunbathing opportunities.
Personalised itineraries offer guests the freedom to use their time at Kuganha to unwind as they make use of the private pool, the exclusive spa bungalow and go on traditional safaris that whisk guests onto the 10 000 hectare wildlife conservancy to view the main attraction: Africas exquisite wildlife.
The private Kuganha chef will grill your dinner on an open fire, or braai as we call it here, as you chat about your sightings from that day. After a three course dinner, go to bed to the sounds of wildlife calling, safely cosseted in your luxury tent with dreams of your early morning game drive and the decadent breakfast spread that will await you!
While on safari, guests will have an awe-inspiring occasion as they learn about the Cheetah rehabilitation and conservation project. Enjoy witnessing the impala, eland or stop at the dam and spot the shy hippo hiding under the water with only their nostril showing or even experience waking up to the roar of an African lion, terrifying but a beautiful experience.
Returning from an afternoon safari, guests are spoilt with a welcome back drink and guided to sit around the toasty fire while their ranger prepares a dinner feast.
Evenings are spent listening to the sounds of nature, surrounded by the warmth of lanterns that light up the camp at night while the Karoo skies open to a magical display of the Milky Way.
