Numerous advantages exist, such as its location adjacent to Lake Winnebago, reliable WiFi, and the ability to bring your own boat. The staff is accommodating and polite. We thoroughly enjoyed observing the Canadian geese, goslings, White Egrets, and White Pelicans. The sunrises were breathtaking. On the downside, our camping spots were tightly packed, water pressure was low, and the availability of proper washrooms near our spot was inadequate (the presence of a Portapotty was unsatisfactory). We experienced loud neighbors due to the absence of specific rules. It was a bit expensive, but considering it was a holiday weekend, we found it acceptable. We would consider revisiting, but we would choose a different spot and avoid holidays.

We stayed 2 nights at the end of September. It was a nice quite get away, only about an hour north of Milwaukee. Our site was level, side to side. The WiFi was really good. The price per night is a little high for an extended stay. We had a nice view of the lake. I do wish people would pick up after their dogs. You really had to watch your step.

Stayed 3 days visiting an old friend and just trying to get away and relax. Perfect choice coming here. I would Recommend Site 1, that is right when get to the park. It’s on the edge and has the best shade most of the day. Docks for your boat right at some camp sights for easy access. Port-a-John’s and recycling bins along with indoor laundry, showers .50 3 min 1.00 6 mins, indoor men’s and woman’s restrooms were always clean and pleasant. Gorgeous sunrise on the lake first thing in the mornings. Small beaches but no life guards. Had our two kids (Husky and Sheppard) they enjoyed it as well. No fires on the ground and fire rings for rent I believe was 5.00. We will be back.

Oshkosh, WI - Kalbus Country Harbor We stayed here for a week in early September, 2018. This campground is right on Lake Winnebago. We were in site number 7 in the S section where we had a front view of the lake. Our site was FHU and labeled as 50 amp but was really 40 amp as that is what the breaker was. We popped the breaker once. The sites are close together in this section and each has a picnic table and there are 2 porta pots. There is also a laundry/bath house (pay for showers but rate seemed reasonable) that is pretty new and clean except for the midges, which were everywhere! Captain Kalbus is a very friendly man. When you arrive there really is no place to park while you register but the street is fairly quiet so we just pulled over and put on our flashers. There are different sections and some of the sites had their boats right at their campers. We would stay here again. Wifi was good.
