As soon as we pulled up we were greeted by such a sweet lady that explained to us how to get to our spot. We interacted with a few of the staff members throughout the weekend and they were all wonderful. The campground was the perfect little spot. There was mini golf, a new playground, and a pool. And knoebels a few minutes down the road! They provided you with all the hookups and a picnic table to eat at. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be returning next month!

J & D is a large, pretty park with many seasonals. The staff is very friendly and responsive. There are lots of trees and shade. All sites and interior roads are gravel. Most sites are long and level. They don’t like anything in the grass including picnic tables. Sites are near each other with a little bit of green space and a couple trees between them. There is no real privacy. The fire pits are very oddly placed in some sites like ours. It was way in the back almost in the interior road. I ended up running into one with my car and damaging the underside of the bumper. They need to move these. We could not get satellite in our site and it is doubtful in any site. Their cable worked fine though. Verizon was 4g 1-2 bars and our hot spot was sketchy – worked sometimes and not others. Tengointernet worked sometimes but in general it was too slow to use. This is a popular campground with lots of people and kids especially on weekends. It did quiet down at night. There is some road noise from Southern drive. Don’t miss getting some ice cream across the street – it is delicious!

This lovely campground is right next to a busy road, but it isn’t that bad. The traffic becomes white noise after a while. There are things to do like shuffle board, playground and pool. And only 2 miles to Knoebels. The owners/employees must be out every day mowing, cleaning, clipping, sprucing up. Nothing is out of place. Office personnel is super friendly. We are here the last week of August when it’s half empty, so it’s VERY quiet. Yes it’s an RV park, but spots are larger than typical RV parks, and there’s plenty of shade. At night we realized we were right under one of the large street lights that dot the property. That might be a problem for people who don’t have mini blinds in their camper. Will definitely stay again.

Only 8 large pull throughs so we were lucky, but the back ins are very spacious. Huge shade trees throughout so don’t count on satellite radio, but cable TV is included. Workers continually running around so campground was immaculate. Can’t get much closer to Knoebels amusement park.

The staff here are friendly and try to be accommodating. The main office “moves” around in the early season from a store across from the campground to a small building at the entrance to the campground. The sites are predominately long term/seasonal although, for the most part, they are well maintained. The seasonal sites are by the creek or a pond and away from route 487. The short term sites are closer to route 487, and it is very noisy during the day. Thankfully, it quiets down at night. Also, beware the recycling/trash pick up – sometimes as early as 4:00 am! There are lots of trees which are quite beautiful. Satellite is unlikely but the cable is very good. Sites are a mixed bag. They are gravel sometimes mixed with a decent amount of grass. Our site was long and pretty level. Others can be short, long, level or not so level sloping towards the front of the site. There is a small strip of grass/trees between sites but they are still close together. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Water pressure drops sometimes to around 40psi. Internet is Tengo so it either worked or it didn't work at all. Lots and lots of potholes that they started filling in just before Memorial Day; however, you will still rock and roll in the dips. It is a busy campground with the main draw being Knoebels Amusement park. Reservations are recommended.
