Same as other entries. Host came to visit around 7:09pm. Very quiet. No AT&T service at all.

We were here 6/12 and 6/13/19. This little hidden gem has been one of our best spots. We were luck to snag spot #2, as did the previous poster and it is fabulous. We wished we had been able to stay longer. Campground itself is basic, friendly hosts helpful, etc., but in Dubois there's plenty of services. We took showers, did laundry, stocked up on groceries, etc.People in Dubois really seem to like having you there - different than some tourist cities where they can't wait for you to leave! Beautiful spot - hope to go back.

This is a small campground with a friendly host. Only 9 sites, and one taken up by the campground host. There are two sides to the campground, but site 2, on the loop where the host is, can't be beat. We were at the confluence of two brooks, and surrounded by trees, making it very private. There is a little rock beach with a path from the site, so there's even privacy on the water. In early June, the water was running high and fast, so no swimming! But the sound of the water at night was heavenly, as were the views. Pit toilet was well maintained. No other services. No cell phone service. Isolation, peace, and quiet, just about 10 miles from Dubois with its restaurants and shops...and in the midst of the Shoshone National Forest with all of its ATV and hiking trails. In early June, there were no other campers (only the host) at the campground. It's a forest service campground, so half price with a senior pass. The road out from Dubois gets a little bumpy as you get closer to the campground, but just go slow and you'll be fine. I'd be cautious about heading there if there has been a lot of rain -- the road could be muddy.
