Green Hill Lake Campground

3377, Ararat
Victoria, Australia

A disappointing (but popular) camp consisting of a large grassed area by an attractive lake with very limited shade.
Backed by flat, open farmland with some traffic noise from the highway. The ambiance may improve as recently planted shrubs grow. Maintenance is good. Fires in fireplaces (2, near Rotary BBQ shelter) only. Water birds plentiful. Pleasant walking trail. Swimming, boating, fishing, water-skiing Rated 3.6/5 Thanks to Smokeydk for the following updates and photos. Still $5 night, un-powered, showers and toilets

Am thinking of camping for a few nights before the Easter weekend. How quickly does the Reserve fill up leading into the Easter weekend?
