Toen we arriveerden, kregen we een plek toegewezen (we hadden geen keuze, ook al was de camping niet vol) op een zonnig veld, met het sportterrein achter ons. Er verblijven hier veel gezinnen. De combinatie van het sportterrein en de gezinnen zorgde voor veel geluidsoverlast op de camping. We kwamen hier op aanbeveling van kampeerders van een eerdere camping, die in de buurt van deze camping wonen. De sanitaire voorzieningen waren vrij nieuw, in uitstekende staat en zeer schoon. Ondanks de aanwezige afvalbakken lag er hier en daar plastic afval op de camping. We vonden de locatie niet ideaal, voor ons te ver verwijderd van de hoogtepunten van de Harz.
