Friendly staff. Made it easy to find spot. Roads are marked well. Smaller sites but neighbors were quiet. Would stay again

We were passing through and needed a 1 night stay with water/electric. Thought it was a tad expensive for the stinky water. Didn't feel refreshed after our shower and we even have a filter system. We didn't really check out the campground but sites are not very private. Would not stay again here just for the fact of the water smell. They also had wifi but it did not work at our site. Site was big enough though that we could keep our truck hooked up for an early departure.

I really liked this place. It's an easy one mile drive off the freeway. The electric/water sites were gravel, pull-throughs.

This is a big park but easy for a bigger rig to pull in and out of the sites. The sites aren’t too far away from each other, but you’re not touching the next sites awnings with your slide outs. The staff is wonderful and helpful. There is a pool and it did look maintained and cleaned, but we never used it. The bath houses are kept up, but need A/C for summertime, as they can get warm during the day. There appeared to be a mini golf course (small, and needs some repairs). We had issues with the power and water there, but we were able to adjust our thinking, and treat it like a 30-amp outlet, and didn’t use all the A/C units in our camper (we were fine with two). In the summer when many bigger rigs are using all three A/C units, it pulls a lot of power through the park and the power at some of the pedestals tend to drop below 105. The water was a nice rust color (we used a three stage filter and RV OnTheGo water softener). Talking with some of the staff there, as well as the owner, they had just built a new building and pavilion. The new building was to house a new water softener system for the park (he was waiting for the plumber to hook it into the system, as the equipment was in place). If we hadn’t talked with the staff and owner, we probably wouldn’t consider coming back, due to the issues. Since they are working on improving the park, we are going to give it another shot next time we’re in the area. Overall, I think this park will be a great park to visit when in the Elkhart area once the updates/upgrades are completed. There is a lot to do in the Elkhart area, highly recommend visiting the RV Museum, SuperHero Museum, Railroad museum and the Botanical Gardens.

This campground is located in a rural setting in Bremen, IN not far from Elkhart, Waukarusa, Napanee or South Bend. Sites are level with about 20 pull through sites. 50 amp service available. We camp with a 40’ fifth wheel so we appreciated having big rig friendly sites. Campground offers fishing, playground, driving range, WIFI is available throughout the park, but not strong enough signal for streaming. There is a train track nearby, but the noise is not obnoxious. About 1/3 of the sites are dedicated to seasonals, and on holiday weekends they say they book fully.

We stayed in sites p20 and p21 with another family. Our class a is 35 ft and we had plenty room. P20 is an end full hookup site. The pool was not crowded and the kids had a great time making friends. I’m not sure if it wasn’t crowded as there was rain in the forecast. It’s well maintained. I plan on returning and highly recommend.

Good quiet stay just off the interstate. We could see the interstate but could not hear it inside our camper. This site did have very hard water, and I am not sure if the whole campground is the same or just theirs newer section. Great location close to the Rv Hall of fame and other Rv businesses.

We came to Elkhart for a week to have servicing done on our 5th wheel. The campground (CG) was easy to find and pull into just a short drive off the highway. After checking in, we proceeded to pull through site 742 with FHUs. We had a tight turn into the site due to the camper next to us sitting at the back of the site, and a Class A on the other side was close with its awning out. But we were able to get positioned on the site so that we had a few feet of clearance between our bedroom slide and their awning. The regular sites are very close together in this CG. The deluxe sites give you a cement pad and better spacing but are still fairly close together. The utilities were well placed on the pad and the water pressure was good at around 50 psi. We got 4 bars on Verizon but the CG Wifi wasn’t all that great. They have about a 1/4 acre fenced dog area plus there are plenty of areas within the CG to walk your dog including a short trail through the woods at the back of the CG. There’s a small camp store at the check-in office and a decent laundry in Rec Hall 3. Go to the Flippin Cow about 1.5 miles from the campground on Simonton Lake. The Bonnie burger is very good! If you need any obscure RV parts, check out Bontrager's Surplus in White Pigeon MI. This large RV surplus is not too far away and it's worth checking out just to see all the things they have in stock. Overall, this CG met our needs.

Called 1 day before for an overnight - Got in. Site J308 was perfect. Easy in and out for 1 night. Almost all of their sites are very level. They were not the most pleasant at check in, however, it was very busy due to a camper rally of some sort and campers coming in like crazy. Cable cost $2 extra- which was fine. The internet was hit and miss. Water pressure was good. Verizon was fine. Went for a drive downtown - would not recommend it - did not seem very safe and there was not much there. Campground was nice, clean and easy in and out, but, probably will not stay here again due to nothing in the area - for us.

We were planning on staying 7 days but only stayed 2 because we didn't want to pay 70.00 dollars extra for having 2 kids. I explained to the owner that most campgrounds will charge extra for kids even though most we visit include 2 adults and 2 children but when you do a weekly or monthly rate the extra child charge is discounted instead of charging each day. He didnt seem to get it so we only stayed 2 days. The spots are close together FHU nothing special. I spoke to a neighbor staying a month that has 5 kids and was charged 25 extra dollars per day! 750 dollars for kids?! This place is crazy 𤪠they also charge 3 percent for using a debit card lol I was charged this fee twice because the person at the desk got the total incorrect the first time. We don't mind paying premiums for nicer campgrounds but don't nickel and dime us on everything.

Came in to stay for one night and told them we only needed Electric and water. Gave us choice of 4 50 amp sites. Site worked but ridiculously close (look at picture). If another unit had take site next to us I think the slides would touch. That being said the other sites have much more room, picnic tables and some nicely treed. Bath house adequate. Nice pool and playground. Huge dog park. Some freeway noise. Nice hosts and small store. Lots of nice big rigs. Close to RV museum which we didn’t do but 24 min ride to Newmar plant which we visited and took a tour. Busy repair shop next door. Restaurants nearby. We went to Lucchinas (sp?) which was awesome.

We spent 2 months here to escape the heat. Site was level and grass. We paid $450.00 a month. Very good laundry room There is a lot to do and see in the area. Amish country is nearby and the RV/MH Hall of Fame is just a few miles from campground. If traveling and need to restock it's a great location for that. We would stay here as a stop over but not long term.

Our check-in process was very smooth and the attendant was nice and helpful. We stayed at the area close to the RV Dealer next door, this area does not have trees so it makes it a sure satellite signal. At this area the sites are leveled and not too close together. Pool looks very inviting, although we did not use it. WiFi is good when you are able to connect to it. If you have a WiFi Ranger you can pick up the WiFi signal of the RV Dealer next door, they have a faster service and more consistent signal. The campground is very close to everything, you have gas stations, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. close by. Grounds are kept well groomed and clean, water quality seams good and pressure averages 40 psi. We felt safe and if you are coming to Elkhart, I would think this is your best option.

The sites are mostly all pull-thrus, most of the sites have gravel parking pads and the rest is grass. Nice spacing with picnic tables at each site. There are some tent sites and some back-ins along the tree line. There is a pool, volleyball, laundry (that doubles as a sauna!), a huge fenced doggy area with lots of chipmunk holes for entertainment. There are also some trails back in the woods.

When I consider camping there are four points that add or subtract a campground from my possibilities. This location has a congested set-up with no space, wildlife, shade or promotion of typical camping among nature, but, rather a three foot space between you and your neighbor, the roadways and a busy, heavily used County Road, along with the Toll Road. No peacefulness here at all. Pricing of goods/services rendered are the same as a cheap motel room, so why camp? Quiet locations promote the appreciation of nature, sharing time with your family and teaching your grandchildren about "true" camping without electrical devices. Nothing congenial about this area. Bike trails are a given when I head out to camp for a month or so and the only thing close to this campground is County Road 4 with more traffic than a country girl wants to hear much less fight for biking space with on the nearby road. Just because the National Forest isn't outside their back door, doesn't mean it shouldn't feel as if it isn't there.

We stayed in a grassy site (30 amp) under a big tree which we really liked, but most sites were lined up RV style w/no separation. There was a pool and laundry (didn't use) showers and bathrooms were clean. Close poo to highway and not far from Elkhart, which was a nice small town. The wifi reception was poor.

We were in Elkhart for some upgrades to our RV as was probably 70% of the people staying here. Price - $46 (Full) / $240 week (GS, Escapees discount for nightly) Check in/out - Speedy check in, friendly clerks, provided a map and explanation of how to arrive at our site. Interior Roads - Interior roads were hard gravel mixed with asphalt. Roads were wide and easy to navigate. RV space - Gravel sites mixed with asphalt. Sites were level and had approximately ten feet between your neighbors. Hookups - We were in a full hookup spot. Utilities were very conveniently placed at the site, easy to use, and no issues with the electricity. Bathrooms/Showers - Only one bathroom was open and it was at their community barn. The bathrooms there were spacious but dated. We were told the other bathrooms were going to be opened up on May 1st but they were not. Exercise facilities - Located in the office area, the exercise room was almost non-existent. They had dated equipment but boxes were stacked everywhere inside it. Pet area - The pet area was huge and fenced in. It had real grass and they kept it mowed...very nice!! No bags were offered but there was a trash can for disposal. Children area - Probably the shining star at the campground. They had updated playground equipment, nice ground covering, and the space was large. Cell coverage - 4 bars of ATT LTE Wifi - We did not use their Wifi Other - A swimming pool was on-site however there was dirt piled up on the pool deck so I don't think its usable. The trash receptacles were over-flowing throughout the entire stay. They do recycle, but it was also over-flowed and never emptied.

This is a convenient campground when staying in the World’s RV Capital or passing through the area on I-80/90. This is a huge place and wasn’t very busy during our visit so everything was quiet and relaxing. But I can imagine that on the weekends during peak season this place is crazy busy and might be less desirable. There was a small amount of noise from the nearby interstate during the night. We are usually sensitive to this but during our visit this was quite tolerable. The sites are typical sized for a private campground (narrow.) There is no separation between sites. Our site was level. The facilities appear to be reasonably well cared for. All utilities worked as expected (could not get campground wifi signal but we never use that anyway.). Verizon Internet was good enough to stream Hd video. Overall, this place is fine for a quick stopover for a day or two, if we were going to be in the area for a longer stay we would definitely check out a state or municipal park in the vicinity. Overall. We would stay here again.

We originally stayed at their other camp6 in Niles, MI that they recently bought. It wasn’t exactly what we expected, so they were very accommodating in having us move here to their ElkHart Campground. We new they had a huge rally coming up and we may need to move but that was okay with us. We love the dog park and the entire campground are pull thrus.. Very friendly staff, lots of room to put your things out after you get set up, and they have graveled sites so you don’t sink when it rains. They really filled up fast with their rally. We had to move which was expected and we enjoyed the rally as well. I would really recommend this place if you have big rigs and dogs.. very clean restrooms and showers. The pool is clean as well.. They have a little store inside for little things like ice, snacks, ice cream, etc..Not far is Walgreens, and Martins, a lovely grocery store, then Walmart is down the street some from there.. Great place! We will be back if we come through. We were waiting on repair parts from Goshen!

The campground is nice enough. Quiet other than expressway noise. Had trouble connecting to the water, and from the looks of the Teflon tape on the threads, I would say I'm not the first person to have that issue. My big issue is not being able to connect to the WiFi - which is one of the reasons we booked this site (to plan to following day on the internet).

Not our favorite. To be fair, we could not use any of the amenities due to Covid, but there were plenty of playgrounds, a pool, beach and several areas to walk for exercise. Our site was on Northwest side of the park and that was gloomy, dark and poorly maintained with pines needles a-plenty and bugs. Very busy with kids, families and people doing loud work on their sites, but all seemed friendly. If we were to go back, we would probably request to stay on the other side of the park where it seemed brighter and you had quick access to the amenities. Bonus- Our daughters loved their evening walk on the 2 mile road into the town to buy some snacks at the gas/market which is well stocked with a variety of food and necessities.

Stayed 5/11/17. We stayed in a primitive site here was essentially parking in a field. We enjoyed this because we were out there by ourselves. We were able to use the dump station on site. It is in close proximity to some of the RV manufacturers who host factory tours which is pretty cool to check out. The campground was well maintained. We would stay here again.

Stayed 7 days from 5/8/2021 - 5/15/2021. Very large campground, was not too crowded during my stay but imagine that it is a bit noisy and hectic if full. Sites are decent size and flat, and all seemed to be full hookup pull thrus. Dog run is very large. Other than the manufacturer factories there really didn't seem to be too much to do in the immediate area. Close to the highway and easy to get to, and could only hear faint highway noise at night. There's a pool and minigolf and playground for the kids as well. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. ATT and TMobile signals on the Peplink were great. Overall very nice campground, would return but probably not for a full week.

People stay here due to Elkhart being the RV capital so lots of newer RVs to look at. Sites were level and easy to get into. Our section was challenging to get out of because the sites are angled with no exit road in the right direction. We had to cut through empty sites to get out. Weird. Water tastes and smells awful even with our filter. Laundry efficient and pool is open in the summer. Stores just down the road. WiFi okay.

We stayed for 3 months in order to achieve selling our condo, buying a new motorhome and getting ready to travel full time. Bob was very accomodating, he even let us put up a temporary tent in order to sort through all of our belongings and fill our new motorhome. During our time here we enjoyed the Pumpkinvine Trail with our bikes, Shipshewana Flea market and shops and area parks and resturants. There's lots to do in this area. There's a real nice dog park, playground and pool. The laundry mat and 3 separate bathrooms with showers were always clean. Very clean park and quiet even though near the toll road. We plan to come back when we are in the area.

They have the word "campground" in the name, but this is not a campground. It's an RV park all the way. Lots of permanent residents here. The daily and weekly guests are on grass sites that get soggy or muddy in the rains, and this place is full of bugs, gnats, and mosquitoes. It's nice they have a store and grill on site. A swimming pool, and a mess hall you can rent for parties. But otherwise, it's an expensive place to stay if you're paying the daily rate, and not very fun for RVing.
