This campground is more suited for tents than any RVs. While the camp host had a toy hauler travel trailer, I can't imagine how he was able to make it to the site. My F250 alone was almost the limit for the back portion of the loop. The sites are closed to the road and small. There is a trash dumpster and vault toilets. The campground is across from a popular mountain biking trailhead. The road beyond the campground deteriorates rapidly. Do not attempt without high clearance and possible 4X4.

Do not recommend this campground for any rv. We have a 20’ and was afraid we wouldn’t even be able to get out. Very tight quarters, fine for tent camping.

Small and quiet, with plenty of spots open on a weekday. The gravel road coming up was in good shape. Quiet and tree covered, with fire rings and picnic tables, relatively clean pit toilets. No bear vaults. Not too far from here to Strawberry Hot Springs—I will remember this spot next time I come!

Stayed for two nights, it was a great experience. I personally didn’t have any Verizon service. Previous reviews gave me the impression the road up was awful but clearly they did some work because it was pretty smooth. About 15 minutes up pulling a trailer. I felt safe!

Site full, but just up the horribly maintained CR 38....I mean really bad road, I’m embarrassed for Rout County. But if you can make it, there are dispersed camp sites along the road, if you can really really make it, some with truly exceptional scenery toward Buffalo Pass.

bout 4 miles of gravel road to get here, but the roads in good shape. Sites are shady and have picnic tables and fire rings

We were surprised to find 1 bar LTE up here. Campground was full so we couldn't stay. About 2 sites out of 8 would have fit our 30 foot. The road after this has pullouts but is un maintained and was a bit of a nail bitter and most spots were muddy this time of year. We ended up turning around with a pending snow storm. But being this close to steamboat with good internet we would come back.
