Very, very nice facility. They do have formidable speed bumps. Even those didn’t slow down a number of people staying there.

After reading the reviews, we made a reservation at this campground. As we were only passing through, we booked to stay one night. Upon our arrival at the check-in/registration, I opened the door and proceeded inside. There was a small foyer area and then another set of doors to get into a large open space area. When I opened that door and started to proceed to the counter, a man was sitting behind a desk and yelled at me to stop. Asked me if I had a reservation. I replied yes. Yelled again for me to turn around. Apparently there was a folder with our name our receipt and our pertinent information on it. It was a file type thing on a table in the foyer. I suppose he was saving me the trouble of handing it to me in person. I was wearing my mask and following the rules. However the whole incident could’ve been handled graciously and could’ve been explained so I wasn’t lost and didn’t know what to do and didn’t know what he was talking about, etc. The man was unkind, rude, not helpful in any way. It started our entire stay off on the wrong foot. A kind word or explanation would have avoided every bit of that. Other than that, the stay was uneventful. But we won’t go back.

Nice wide sites. Cement sites with nice grass strips between sites. Full hook ups. On the east side of Topeka just off I70. Quiet and near.

We only stayed overnight but it was not long enough! We checked in with Randy. He was so informative about the area. Our site was very clean and spacious. The is a restaurant called Lonnie’s BBQ right outside the gate. The bathrooms were very clean and showers were nice. Beware the lights are on a timer so make sure you move around or you will be in the dark. I found this park to be somewhat quiet as you do have road noise it is buffered by the trees. We have definitely decided to come back to this beautiful. Thank you to Deer Creek Valley RV Park for a great night ! Would recommend this place for everyone.

Great location, beautifully kept. Lawns were bright green grass. Check-in/out procedures were smooth -- we arrived after hours, called ahead, and were given a gate code and check-in information. Had good looking laundry facilities and restrooms/showers, and a BBQ place on site (we didn't try it). Walmart and Dillons are right down the road. Only downsides are no trees on the property (I tend to like trees), you're not allowed to put any carpets/mats on the grass (they have to keep it looking nice), and there are no fire pits at the sites. Each site has a cement pad and picnic table though, and as I mentioned earlier, beautiful grass. Wifi was strong and not too slow either. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very new RV park and all the facilities are in top notch condition. All pads are concrete. The sites are very large by private RV park standards and each site includes a large well maintained lawn. The condition of the grass is up to golf course standards. There are no trees sheltering the RV pads and no vegetation separating the sites but the way each site is angled you're not staring at your neighbor's rig. There are a lot of concrete surfaces in this park (the owner is a paving contractor) so I imagine this place gets very hot in the summer. Nearly all of the sites are pull through and can accomodate the longest rigs and two additional vehicles. The hosts are extremely friendly and will pick up your propane tanks at your site, fill them and return them. There is a nice pool, swing set and dog run area. The laundry public restrooms and showers were in excellent shape. The park does offer free "standard wifi" which we did not use. Verizon cell data was good enough to stream HD video. The park is minutes away from downtown Topeka and I believe is the closest such facility to downtown. The only ding is the road noise from the adjacent highway (I-70.) If it wasn't for the road noise I'd have given this place five stars. If road noise doesn't bother you too much, then do not hesitate to stop here. If the noise is an issue there are some other less fancy options in the Topeka area.
