The camping area was impeccably neat. Although the plots were somewhat compact and closely packed, our 19-foot caravan had ample space. We were fortunate to have a flat pitch near the entrance, so I can't comment on the flatness of the pitches further in. The washrooms and shower facilities were spotless, with an abundance of hot water. There's also a laundromat on the premises. We didn't take a dip in the pool, but it appeared to be in great condition. There were only electric and water connections available, but a waste disposal station was conveniently located on the premises. The personnel were incredibly welcoming and pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this camping spot in the future.

We stayed here for 6 nights and loved it! It’s the height of summer and the spaces are VERY close together, so not a lot of privacy. The grounds are spotless and the office staff are tremendously helpful and kind: moving our reservation, adding a day, accepting packages, all done with a smile. The park is close to Santa Cruz and the cute town of Felton. We enjoyed shopping at the natural food store nearby and loved the proximity to the coast and the venue for our daughters wedding. Be aware that the redwood trees make it extremely challenging to use the camp wi-if, and there is zero service for ATT and T-Mobile without the camp wifi. Showers are basic, but restrooms are very clean. Cute playground, super clean pool, and a small dog area. Office carries necessities and firewood for the fire pits at each site. We were able to dump as we left, but there is no way to use your sani flush hose. Highly recommend this campground!

I’ve been here with friends who booked the site(s) and it’s been quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing. Now I have booked three upcoming trips myself. Every time I called, I was amazed at how nice the ladies were on the phone. Quiet the opposite of the standard customer service you get in 2022. It was really part of the reason we have several upcoming trips here as opposed to 1 or 2. Recently there was an error in the dates in my fall booking, which required picking different sites as the ones I booked were not available. I was quite frustrated because I fully perceive the error to be on the part of Cotillion Gardens. The lady on the phone let me vent and interrupt her all while maintaining a nice and professional attitude and not being argumentative with me. We ended up coming up with different sites which having pictures of each site on the website was a huge help. I am looking forward to the stay and would highly recommend this campground.

One of the more reasonably priced in the area and quite nice. A bit small and a little crowded for my tastes but then I only do RV parks for 2-4 nights a month. The campground web was really awesome compared to most I experienced. It was quick and I had no trouble working as well as some fun streaming! I didn't use it but the swimming pool looked well kept and neighbors said it was heated. I really enjoyed being surrounded by majestic redwoods. The showers were hot and free. The only thing missing was a laundry mat -- but there are several in town that get good yelp reviews. I'll try one tomorrow. I would stay here again.

Stayed here with my 16 year old son. The wifi worked well enough for us to work/school from the camper and our site was quite a ways from the office where I would guess the router is. Henry Cowell is great for hiking around and playing in the river. The clubhouse and pool is a kid's dream. Felton is close for groceries and restaurants. It's generally warmer, sunnier, dryer and cheaper than Santa Cruz but you're only 15-20 minutes away from everything in SC. Very quiet at night. Yes, some of the spaces are tight but all of SC and maybe Cal is probably like that and I heard the other nearby campgrounds were even tighter. Site 44 is great if you have a smaller RV or trailer (ours is 22' and that's about max I'd say. The showers are losing them my 5th star. They are all push button with fine mist heads (like in prison and really old high schools). The 2 men's showers in the main block would never get hot and one of them you pretty much had to hold the button down with one hand to keep the luke warm water flowing. The other shower would get hot but the head was clogged or something and the spray was not great. After trying each one I told the maintenance guy on day 4 and nothing changes for the rest of our stay. The nights would get chilly and after coming back from a day of surfing and mountain bike riding, I would have liked a good hot shower. Otherwise 5 stars and we'd come again even with the showers as they are.
