Deze camping hebben we al vaker bezocht. Verwacht geen ruime plekken of luxe aankleding. Dat is er niet! Wel heeft het op een dag rijden een enorm vakantiegevoel. Je staat een paar meter boven het strand waar je met een brede trap naar af kunt dalen waardoor je op een prachtig strand terecht komt. Houlgate zelf is - zoals veel van deze kuststadjes - indrukwekkend vanaf het waterfront maar achter dit 'uithangbord' wel wat oud. Maar goed, daarom willen we toch ook en masse naar Frankrijk? Je bent - ook op de fiets - in een mum van tijd in de meest beroemde badplaatsen en natuurlijk ook zo op de indrukwekkende invasie stranden.
