Choosing to live in a recreational vehicle (RV) with my family has been a fantastic decision, especially because of this park. The employees are extremely amiable. They do tend to focus more on those planning an extended stay, with a suggested minimum duration of a year. This factor played a role in us securing a reservation during the peak season for winter visitors. The cost is more economical than leasing an apartment, plus there's no need to worry about pet fees. The parking spaces may not be flawless, but a few leveling blocks can easily rectify this. Yes, it can get a bit loud, but given that we're in San Antonio and not a secluded forest, it's not surprising. The park offers decent amenities including clean facilities and a nearby bus stop, which is handy if you're low on fuel after a journey. It's also conveniently located for deliveries from Walmart, Costco, HEB, and numerous eateries. There's even an Amazon pickup point at the local Circle K. The community here looks out for each other, contributing to a secure environment. Several staff members reside here too, taking a personal interest in maintaining a pleasant and inviting park. They are also planning to organize more activities for visitors, and every other weekend, they host a variety of delicious food trucks.

As other reviews said there are mostly permanent residents here. The trailers and sites are a mess. For the price, I expected it to be nicer. The site next to us had a camper that was falling apart and the resident was telling us how he fixed his slide out floor with some plywood. It was only a few minutes from Sea World which is the only reason we chose this campground. The bath house doesn't open till 8 am. Most people I know are up and showered by then. We went to use the bathhouse at 8:45 and it was closed for cleaning. If it doesn't open till 8 then it should be cleaned before then. Only nice thing was the pool, but we didn't even use it because some of the residents seemed a bit shady.

We were put off by this “resort” when we pulled in and saw 3 large overflowing dumpsters. The first site we tried to go to was so unlevel our camper steps were 2.5ft off the concrete. The next site they gave us had trees on both sides so we had the option to either open our slide or our door. The 3rd site was ok. Still unlevel, but the streets you drive down to get to your site were very narrow. We had to dodge and weave around cars that were sticking out on every row. This park has mostly permanent trailers with a few transients. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the pool was nice.
