We've traversed the entirety of the United States and this location ranks among the top off-grid camping sites we've experienced. It's spacious enough to accommodate hundreds of recreational vehicles without feeling crowded. It's situated alongside a pristine river, so ensure you explore its length before settling on a spot. Both ATT and Verizon offer sufficient internet coverage for remote work meetings. The Grand Tetons are approximately an hour's drive from here, and the southern mountain range offers breathtaking scenery and excellent hiking opportunities.

We camped here in a 40' motorhome in September 2021. The road in to the boondocking spots can be a bit rough but we made it work. There is a paid-for campground nearby that has a public dump station which makes this an extra convenient boondocking site. Great location, nearby waterfall, beautiful scenery. Plenty of clearing for starlink to work perfectly.

The way in can be a bit rough, large rocks, varied degrees of sand but all in all not terribly hard to access.

Only complaint would be you can really hear the highway even though it is over the River from here, but we did camp pretty close to the water.

On our way from Boise to Jackson Hole and was looking for an easy in and out. This is our first try with Campendium and was just spot on the coordinates and description. So thought we would add a couple new photos.

The Palisade Reservoir was amazing to drive past, and I would have preferred to camp there, but it was BUSY and crowded...NOT my thing. This place is pretty, no big views though, and right off the Snake River. The turn in is sharp, but easy and access to these sites is great for all sizes and types of rigs. The road in is smooth, and the roads and ground are covered in smooth river rock of various sizes. Tons of campsites, some right on the river, some in the open and quite a few in the trees. It is definitely used for OHV, but everyone has been very respectful of space and noise. I would suggest getting your spot by early Thursday for the best choices, as it does get very busy on the weekend. The downsides are the ants that seem to have been in every site I looked at, including the one I finally settled in, and there is a small amount of traffic noise.

Plenty of forest land just below the dam and behind Riverside CG, just across Snake River. The area is frequented by ATVs an motorcycles due to the trails that run through the area, so pick your spot according. Beautiful sunsets and stars every night. Verizon service was pretty good; around 10-15M, so no problem working or streaming tv. Wife has T-Mobile and her service was decent as long as she didnt move around too much once she got it. Definitely wouldn’t rely on it for working without a booster. Stayed in our 39’ fifth wheel with mo issues. Some areas are too hilly for bigger rigs, but some smaller units will be able to cozy right up to the Snake River! Safe travels.
