The grounds are surfaced, yet they maintain their natural ambiance through the abundance of trees and shade!

This park is perfectly situated a short drive outside Green Bay and on the southern end of the Door Peninsula. It was easy to get anywhere in Green Bay we wanted to visit - even the Meijer on the other side of town is only about 25 minutes away. And heading up to Door County for day trips was also a breeze. Sites are large and spaced out nicely, so even though the park was full on weekends we never felt crowded. I had plenty of space to throw my hammock up between trees on our site. As usual, sites on the outside of the loop are most private. Sites are paved and appeared to be fairly level. Do pay attention to the site length when reserving since they vary considerably. The shower house closest to us was not huge (3 showers each for men and women) but it was never crowded even when the park was full. We don't love those push button controls but at least they offered a nice long duration. Our favorite thing about the park is that it has a natural, outdoor vibe while keeping us well connected. We had many OATV channels including all the networks, along with blazing fast internet on AT&T (Down 80 / Up 20). We did have a little road noise at night from the highway up to Door County, but it was a small price to pay for the awesome internet from the tower that sits right along that highway. It would have been nice if the park had more than one small hiking trail, but we did appreciate having several options of paved roads, picnic areas, and a short trail to walk on. We also appreciated that the dump station (like WI state parks) includes a threaded rinse hose so we could use our automated black tank flush.

We stopped here on our way to Door County. It was a quick overnight stay. Sites were level and paved. Stayed by the smaller bathroom. Bathroom was overall clean. Only had one stall which could get busy if the park had been crowded. We stayed on a Tuesday night. Sure had electric and water. The showers were free but just had a push knob with timer. Could not adjust spray or temperature. Definitely would stay here again.

Rolled in on a Friday night and there were still some first come first served spots available. What a great little park in the edge of Green Bay. A short drive will get you downtown, a little longer drive will get you in Door County! Only downside was the men’s bathrooms were horrible. Seems like they only clean them once a week?

We spent a week at Bay Shore in August 2020. The site was level and nicely spaced from near by sites. We took a drive up to the tip of the peninsula.

Paved shaded sites with water and either 30 or 50 Amp. Half the sites are non-reservable. There are several sites that would have been suitable for our 37 ft fiver but many were not because curvy roads and trees would have made it too hard to back up into them. If you have a larger rig I’d advise arriving early in the week for best selection. Nice path past rock formations down to the beach. The do have recycling. Must have cash or check for self pay station.

This is a nice campground on the shore of the Bay of Green Bay, great for a stopover on the way up to Door County, or a couple days of relaxation. 50/30/20-amp service available depending on the area of the park. There is a separate area for tent campers. Clean bathrooms and showers. Located next to a paved bike trail - it’s a short ride into nearby Dyckesville for breakfast at Sweet Seasons, lunch or dinner and bowling at the Dyckesville Bowl, ice cream at Frosty Tip, or drinks at Lipsky’s bar. You can get a nice dinner out at Rock Falls. Definitely a slice of small-town USA. The campground itself offers a bounce house (currently having a roof placed over it), a playground, boat launch, and trails down the cliff to a beach. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the entrance. The camp host is readily available for questions. The campground is heavily shaded. Sites with odd numbers are available for online reservations. Even-numbered sites are walk-up only. It’s a busy park on weekends, but very quiet during the week. There were even a few walk-up spots open over the 4th of July weekend. The dump station is very clean and easily accessible. Four stars only because there’s road noise on sites close to the highway. We like this park for its proximity to family and laid-back, quiet vibe and will return again.

We stopped here for 2 nights on our way to the U.P. It was perfect for what we needed, but it was a very busy campground. The sites are large and well shaded, and the showers/bathrooms are clean. There is electric and water hook up with a dump station. We left on a Sunday morning so the line for the dump station was long. There is a great trail we took off the campground to the shore of Green Bay. Pretty sunset and Bay views from the county park. Full cell service, and easy to get to.

We stayed at this campground in August, 2015. It was great. We were there during the week so it was not full at all. No reservations are accepted and you have to pay in cash (no out of state checks). Camping is handled strictly on a first come, first served basis. The Bay Shore County Park has a website that they keep very up to date with how many spaces are available at the moment and for the next day. When you arrive you just pick your site and then fill out an envelope with all the pertinent info, put your cash in the envelope and drop it in the "pay here" box. Our site had water and electric hookups and there is a dump station at the campground. We stayed here because we wanted to visit Lambeau Field. It was about 20 minutes north of Lambeau. The other deciding factor of staying here was it had an awesome playground for our son to play at. I believe it was recently renovated and it's a pirate theme so he had a blast and it was a quick walk from the campground itself. The only down side of this campground if I was to come up with one was there was basically NO cell service or Wifi in this campground, so if you need to make calls or get work done - this might not be the place for you. But if you want to enjoy some peace and relaxation then this is a great campground.
