Well equipped and attractive campsite in Mount Disappointment State Forest

Also rate it 4. Please note that it still takes about 6 tents but the locations have changes as there is a regrowth happening in the 2 of the spots near the entry to the watering holes. To compensate, they cleared up the back a little. Frequent patrol van if you need help. Listen to the guy below about the 4wd track. You could make it in dry but not wet. There are usually guys with dirtbikes nearby but they are polite and not to worry about. Be careful swimming in lower creeks as sometimes there are fish traps...

Anyone going down there around the 20th jan- 25th- 27th 2016? Around that time ill have about 20 people down there, just warning you that there may be a bunch of drunks considering it will be a party camping trip- please reschedule or find a place elsewhere if you would mind that type of disturbance, not trying to cause any trouble but just warning you if you do choose to camp during that time

When traveling from Melbourne be sure to follow the above directions, unless you have a 4wd. Google maps took us down Drag Hill Road which is a steep and rocky track and was not suitable for out station wagon.
