Anchorage hosts a perilous region teeming with numerous substance abusers and vagrants who have taken up residence amidst the trees, often uncomfortably close to where visitors set up their tents or park their recreational vehicles. The proprietor of the place is notably inhospitable and frosty. His discriminatory tendencies are glaringly evident, as demonstrated by an incident where he denied service to a family of African descent. He routinely patrols each camping spot, seemingly scrutinizing the occupants. His intrusive behavior extends to waking up visitors prematurely to inquire about their day's agenda, despite the fact that they have paid in advance for a set duration of stay. His demeanor suggests a high level of paranoia.

Are you kidding? We drove past this place before we called to book. It’s essentially in a train/shipping yard in what looks like an unsafe industrial area.

We phoned ahead and reserved a site. They said if we arrived after 5 there would be an envelope with our name and all the info. It was as said. We were dealing with some mechanical issues and they provided us with the address to have parts delivered to the site. Site backs onto the railway tracks and the trains can be loud but by the second night we never heard them. If you are a light sleeper the trains might be an issue. We found accessing places we wanted to go was pretty easy from this site. They provided a map which we found very helpful. The site we had was a back in site and was level so we didn’t need to use our Levelers which was nice. The sites are tight so there isn’t a lot of room for outside activity, but for a place to park with full hookups while visiting it served our needs well. The site was clean, laundry area was clean and machines worked well. If you want to do laundry after 5 pm or before 10 am make sure you have enough quarters for the machines as the office is only open from 10 to 5 daily. The wifi is slow but in fairness they don’t overstate it in there information. It really depends how busy it is. The rates are in line with what we have experienced in Alaska for full hookups. We will be staying here on our way back through.
