So we pulled up to this spot at night after driving all day and having to go buy a generator because our built in onan starter went out....we just wanted a new one. Anyways...pulled up and you have to call this guy that owns the place. Super nice guy. Cash only so be sure and have that when you show up. Kinda odd but whatever. The train track is literally like 5 yards away from our spot. Everyone’s spot. Very loud but not too many pass by. There is a park right next door which is good if you have pets. Has full hookups and free WiFi. Although the WiFi is so slow I’d only use it for emergency. Our rv was pretty unlevel so our spot wasn’t super level. Other then that is a typical rv park. Now that we have our genny we will be getting back to boondocking. Which...there is nowhere to do that in Texas so far coming from New Mexico. I’d stay here again if I had to. Nice clean space. Quiet except that train.

A bit noisy as the train track is only about 75 yards from camp. Full hookup with WiFi . It was just what I needed after a long day at the wheel. Mr Archie was a pleasure to talk to.

The site setup is a little odd, they are set up two to a row. I guess the front rig should park far enough to the side to allow the rear rig to pass if it were to leave first? Not a problem tonight, not full and I'm sure the folks work it out. The sites are level and a nice quality gravel. Standard hookups, including 50 amp. There is a trash dumpster on the road behind and, surprisingly, there's Wifi. I didn't test it for quality. There are some trees but I don't think they provide a lot of shade. There is a sign at the entryway and on each utility box with the host (Archie) phone number. I called and he showed up within a couple of minutes. Really nice fellow. There's a park within walking distance with a little lake. The drawback though is the train. The tracks are REALLY close and there have been quite a few trains run through in the few hours I've been here. Yep, there's a crossing so there's 4-5 horn blasts. I can even feel the rumbling in my rig. No traffic noise though - lol. I marked that I wouldn't stay again but it would depend on how badly I needed sleep. Sometimes I want to stay just because people are nice.
