Modern restrooms, hot showers, fire pits, table at all sites, only pull thrus in Morro Bay, deep sea fishing, sight- seeing at Hearst Castle, Montana de Oro State Beach. Museum of Natural History and Bird Sanctuary.
The areas appeared somewhat compact, yet we didn't experience any discomfort due to overcrowding. The position was ideal and central for touring the nearby regions. The place was fairly flat and the washrooms were maintained well. It was a simple stroll to the nearby dock and a few coastal paths.

This recreational area is an idyllic spot, just a brief stroll over sand hills to the shoreline. Individuals who are not patrons park nearby for beach trips and many of them use the park's facilities. On a couple of occasions, I was tailed into the restrooms by two individuals who lacked the necessary entry code. Once, I exited the cubicle to discover a mature woman and a young male at the washbasin area, cleaning up. The restrooms are unsanitary, decrepit and overlooked. When night falls, the entire park is engulfed in dense smoke from the fire pits and unregulated noise creating a lively party vibe. The sound of music, motorcycles, and large groups congregating at various spots can be heard. The staff is competent, the cost is affordable, and I'd consider staying there again and endorsing it. However, I plan to remain in my vehicle after sunset and steer clear of the restrooms as much as feasible.

This was a great campground. We had to pull through site with electricity. Received a lot of rain while we were there and many of the pull through sites flooded but not ours. Directly across the street from the Bayside Café which was special! Wild turkeys walk through the campground and of course beautiful sunsets from the top of the museum or black rock.

The beach and walking/bike path are right out of the gate! Nothing fancy but most awesome location. We came for one day and stayed 3!! The path to the harbour is awesome.

The beauty of this park is its location. The sites aren’t that big and it is a big parking lot but in 2 min you are on the beach, right out the back, and also near a bridge over to downtown with all the seafood restaurants and bars. Driving up we saw the towers of the nearby plant and were worried but once we were in the park we didn’t notice them. You couldn’t get any closer to Morro rock. The sunset on the beach was gorgeous. The staff was friendly and informative.
