I stayed near Buckey for an appointment in my 40-foot motorhome, which also had a car. The spaces were extremely cramped. I attempted to do laundry while staying there (5 medium-sized loads), but it took more than six hours due to the fact that two-thirds of the washing machines were not functioning. It's been a few weeks now and out of their 14 machines, only 8 were operational. Given the nightly rate and the number of guests, they should be able to maintain their laundry facilities. I was let down as I had to drive around to find a laundromat, only to return here multiple times to check for availability. I'm not sure about my lot number, maybe 113? It was the last lot near the pool along the main entrance road. It was extremely cramped and had a tree which left little room for movement. Due to strong winds, the tree damaged my brand new 190W solar panel which was only 3 weeks old. I didn't report it as I doubted they would care, given their inability to manage their laundromat. I can't comment on the noise level as I remove my hearing aids, but there were many children playing near the pool. I rated it one star due to the cramped spaces and issues with the laundromat. While the location was ideal, it's not a place I'd choose to stay again unless absolutely necessary. While the entrance to the campground was fine, getting into an RV lot was challenging, especially for beginners.

This place has a tradition of broadcasting music trailers on the month's midpoint. They routinely shuffle a number of motorhomes to different locations - if you can decipher their method, you're cleverer than me. We were relocated from pitch 114 to 37. The individual who replaced us was also moved from another location. This apparently happens every month, so if you decide to camp here, insist on not being moved! They seem to possess supernatural abilities, slapping us with a $96.00 electricity bill on the 3rd, despite us leaving on the 13th. Therefore, if you decide to stay, make sure to photograph your electricity meter to dispute any charges. Another grievance I have is the lack of community spirit - when I was locked out of my motorhome, I spent three hours seeking assistance, to no avail. All I needed was for someone to call a locksmith. One woman even refused outright. Also, be ready for the dog mess scattered around the park - it seems no one bothers to clean up after their pets. If you do choose this place, keep these points in mind and best of luck!

My loved ones and I reserved a month-long stay in this location due to our fondness for the Phoenix region. Given that we have children, our accommodation options are restricted due to the prevalence of 55+ parks. Consequently, local families who live permanently in trailers are left with limited options. This campsite does not reflect the usual management standards of Sun Outdoors. We have stayed at several of their campsites, but this one showed a clear lack of interest in maintaining the premises. The check-in process went smoothly and the reception and activities staff were cordial. However, the proximity of the sites to each other was a challenge, we barely managed to extend our slide-out without colliding with our neighbors'. Opening our windows would mean staring directly at each other due to the close quarters. The sites were congested, unlike anything we had previously encountered, making the experience quite unpleasant. The majority of occupants are permanent residents or long-term visitors with unconventional setups. The place reminded us of a shantytown, with obscured views of RV fronts due to assorted structures covered with tarps and multiple gazebos. The grounds were often littered with shattered glass, dog excrement, and even the dog park was not spared, with dog owners failing to clean up after their pets. The gym was acceptable, albeit carpeted and stained. The shared room/games room was decent. We didn't utilize the pool as it was too chilly and there was no hot tub. The playground was satisfactory. In the laundry room, most of the machines were consistently out of order, causing queues. The early risers, starting their day around 5:30 am, often disturbed our sleep with the noise of car engines and slamming doors. Witnessing a domestic dispute was unsettling, as was an older child confronting my daughter about gender identity. My kids were also scolded by locals for our dogs stepping on the sand near their RV. On our first night, we noticed police outside the RV park and

This is a pretty typical private RV park in terms of its layout and space between each site. Its also a huge RV park. Despite its size and cramped quarters it did have a few things going for it. The location was very easy to get to off of the highway. It also offered easy access to propane refill for a decent price and a space to wash off the RV which is hard to find but always appreciated. The staff is very nice and the doggie area is well kept. PROS: Easy highway access Large Pull-through Sites Close to Grocery Stores Friendly Staff Nice Facilities CONS: Cramped Spaces/No Privacy On the Expensive Side HUGE park

We needed just one night near White tank mountain. We normally do not stay at private but sometimes it just works that way. Yes this is a very big park. The sites are very very close together. For one night we do not un hook. In this case we could not hook up to the sewer. We also did not have a picnic table that I mentioned to him and he said he would get one. I really did not want one so it wasn't a problem. The picture I am posting might explain why I would not need it. I took this from my kitchen window of our neighbors table. I think these are truly the closest sites I have seen. They do have a nice dog area. We stayed here February 11 2017.

This place is huge, but management runs a tight ship, the staff are very courteous and professional, and the place is very quiet and spotlessly clean. There are staff members patrolling in golf carts all the time. I even saw a guy with a broom grading the dirt on a site after a camper left. Most campers are here for the season, but they keep one row (the 500s) for overnighters only. I have overnighted here twice between boondocking locations, to do my laundry (the laundry room is well equipped and spotlessly clean), dump my tanks, fill up with fresh water, get propane (it's expensive, but convenient), and visit Walmart (one mile away, along with Lowes and many other stores). The only complaint I have is about seasonal residents taking their dogs to poop in vacant sites on overnighter's row, instead of taking them to the dog area. This happened twice right next to my site. They did clean up immediately, but it's not acceptable behavior. Both times I went outside and challenged the people, and both blamed their dogs. I mentioned it in the office when I checked out, and they told me it's an ongoing problem.

NOTE: This park has very recently been purchased by Sun Resorts. That happened between when we made our reservation and when we arrived and we were not informed. Negatives: Check in takes a LONG LONG time so be prepared for that after a full travel day. They literally read you pages and pages of rules during check in. No WiFi provided at all, not even the standard RV park bad WiFi. So many dogs that their urine ran into the roads out of the little dog rest stop stations. Regular spots will have your slide inches from your neighbor's and still run $450/mo. Staff must park you and will tell you not to even look in your own mirrors (it's so strange). I witnessed a 5th wheel hit a car during the course of one of these "guided" parkings. Lots of traffic in not-very-wide roads all the time, makes walking tense sometimes. Water was turned off multiple times during our 30-day stay without notice. Certain members of the desk staff are really sarcastic, but no one wears name tags. The park is surrounded by agriculture and SMELLS LIKE POOP 24/7. There are "sewage vents" all around the park that also SMELL LIKE POOP 24/7. Lots of Air Force fighter jets flying over on a regular basis every single day. Entrance road is hard to see at night, so arrive during the day if you can help it. We had an insanely bright street light at our spot and had to black out our windows. Positives: 2 Pickleball courts that are well-maintained, plus other recreational facilities. Shower rooms are older, but are clean and have great pressure and endless hot water. Great lounge with library of books & DVDs, pool table, poker tables, TV, etc. Staff regularly clean the sites, patrol the park, etc. It feels clean and safe. Everybody on staff aside from the couple cranky desk people are very very friendly. The garbage and recycling area is the most organized and clean I've ever seen. Mail system and package delivery work well. The "deluxe" spots have a privacy fence which is nice since you're 2 inches apart. Laundry is very large and clean with plenty of machines and good prices. Super easy to refill propane at the main building and put it on your "tab." Other things to note: The park is very close to both Fry's and Wal-Mart but traffic in Buckeye is strangely horrible and the Wal-Mart parking lot is basically some circle of hell. The post office is in the older part of Buckeye and is also easy to get to. If you go down to that part of town, make sure to have breakfast at Sheep Camp.

Although it's been taken over by an inefficient corporation, the onsite people are still great. Don't bother trying to reserve online or on the 800 number because that's where you run into the new "resort" nonsense. Call the direct line to the office and deal with their people. Sites are tight but adequate for an urban park. Everything is clean and well maintained. We didn't hear any highway noise and the park is quiet at night. Fairly dark which we like. WiFi works fine. Wide interior roads for easy in and out. Propane on site. Utilities all work well and the sites are level.

We were in town for a dental conference for my wife. When I called to make the reservation I was greeted by a very disgruntled woman. After making my reservation I asked about a military discount which is 20%. The lady on the phone then began to grill me on my age, how many years of service I had, and why I was retired. I had to inform her it really wasn’t her business. Fast forward we arrive to check in and I was greeted by another lady who told me my retired id had to have been a fake since I didn’t look old enough to be out of the military or that I even looked like I had served at all. After about 10-15 minutes I was finally checked in. Escorted to my spot. Which was nice. OVERALL THE PARK IS GREAT. the only negative about it is that the water taste horrible. I beat in filters. We were there for a few days and my daughters and I were coming back from a neighborhood playground and one of the employees on his golf cart followed us to our site and as my 2 daughters were walking to my rv he began grilling me about why I was there and if I belonged in the park. That same night another park employee came by with a flashlight at about 9pm shining flashlights in windows looking at decals. I went outside and exchanged some words with him and told him that wasn’t a great idea to do that to my rv again. The day before I left I was reminded by the same guy that I was to be out the next morning. As I was loading up my stuff and car. Then the next morning as I am doing my final checks the great gentleman came by one more time to remind me that I was to be leaving within the next 2 hours. THERE IS NO WIFI AT THE PARK

First of all the maintenance are extremely rude. The mgr kept promising to let us sign a lease to get 200 off of our rent a month. Every month it's a different excuse .. Then we were blamed for something that happened after my granddaughters birthday party in one of the day rooms . Every one here has access to it. Whether I'd stay here again is iffy.

We stayed here because PHX was booked up. Spaces are facing each other so your doors face each other. Lots of kids our kids loved that. Not ideal long term but we were in PHX the whole time. Park employees were very friendly and helpful. Mostly full time residents.

We stayed here for several months for a job assignment or we would’ve left sooner. It’s basically a parking lot full of full time stationary people. Their yards are trashy and you’re forced to look at them as it’s right beside your camper. The spots are so small. More often than not, they’d put large rigs in the spot across from us and there wasn’t enough room for them to angle in so they’d have to pull into our site to back into their own and their truck would be 2-3ft from my camper window - where we usually park our truck. People would constantly walk through our space. Our neighbors would be outside every day swearing and yelling at each other. At one point someone called the cops on them for hitting someone else’s property. They were not made to leave. They have 14 washers for 600+ people and at any given time 4-7 of them were out of order. When they had to close the office for a week because they all got Covid they didn’t tell anyone that was the reason. One of our spots was right next to a large, loud electrical box. We couldn’t have our windows open because it was right there and we could still hear it with the windows shut. The pool is very small for a place this size (look at aerial photos)…that’s just some of what we experienced. I could go on and on. Wifi is unusable even if you pay extra money for their add on option. We had AT&T when we arrived and had to switch to Verizon because AT&T would not work at all.

Friendly escort to site. Price reflects level, FHU "companion" site on gravel. Site was tight enough until 'companion' RV moved in later. (Couldn't extend awning all the way.) But for 1 night it was doable. Close to restaurants and services. The bright spot was their pool: open, clean and nicely heated. Neighbors quieted down after 10 pm. We'd stay again passing through, but not longer. Verizon was excellent, park wi-fi and AT&T unusable.

We stopped for one night to get electricity to run our AC in spite of the negative reviews here. We were greeted very cheerfully by every staff member we saw. The fellow who escorted us to our site was friendly, informative and funny. No-one spoke a word about rules, nor were we given any written ones. The drive through sites are odd because they alternate direction, but we were beside our neighbor’s tow car, not their RV. Although the sites don’t have much vegetation, they are large, level and clean. The services were the newest and best we’ve ever had.

It’s clean well maintained, a great facility. Spacious sites, friendly people, both staff and residents. They have a small dog run, but it gets the job done. I really appreciated being able to self check in.

This campground was very clean and the sites were nice. However upon pulling our 42’ RV into a pretty tight spot, we plugged our surge protector in and it said there was reverse polarity. The management was very kind and offered another site that was available. I went and double checked with the surge protector and you guessed it, reverse polarity. The guy there said it was okay but if you know anything about reverse polarity, it is not okay. We decided to leave. Better safe than sorry. Would stay here again if they addressed that issue!

This RV park is mostly long term residents. Some do not care how loud they are into the night. Only one row of pull through spots for daily stays in the entire park. We wanted propane but they had no authorized people to use the equipment. Oh well. Highway traffic was louder than expected. On the positive side, Kimberly at the office is awesome! Walter working the cart guiding us to the site. He was super nice. We did not use any facilities but they looked clean.

The good first. Conveniently located to the Phoenix area. Has what looked to be a nice pool, a couple of pickleball courts, nice looking laundry and horseshoes. But honestly, this is pea gravel sand sites with little room between you and your neighbor. Most sites seem to be buddy sites, your door opens into their door. Electric, water and sewer worked fine. This is a Sun RV Resort and have to say we are disappointed in this one.

As one other reviewer mentioned, this resort is primarily filled with long term residents. Nothing wrong or unexpected about that especially in the winter in AZ. The problem with this resort is there doesn't seem to be standards in terms of the upkeep or cleanliness of the sites so it's a mixed bag. I was told by another visitor that this has been the case since Sun RV Resorts took over management in the last two years. The park upkeep has really gone downhill. (I will never stay at a Sun RV resort anywhere based on this experience.) Some sites look truly dumpy, others not so bad. We were really taken back by the exceptional number of huge Trump flags, stickers, signs throughout the "resort". IMO, this should be disallowed in any RV resort because you want to get away from this stuff when you vacation, not be surrounded by it - no matter what side of the political spectrum you're on. The spaces are cramped together and the wifi didn't work at all at any point in the day or night. Not even basic service. We complained and we were advised to purchase the upgrade - which we did and even that sucked. We went out daily for golf and to take advantage of other local activities - which the area offers in abundance. We were just always bummed to come home to this place. Would never, ever book this "resort" again. You can find much better options in other areas of the desert.

The amenities are nice. The free WiFi is 756 kB which is horrible. I paid the extra for 10/2 but only got maybe 3 down. No cable, but the pool, laundry, etc is nice. It is just far too cramped for me. Lots of rules and lots of people and right next to the interstate so the noise is consistently high.

Do not stay here. Despite the previous bad reviews I booked a stay out of convenience...please learn from my mistake. I don’t even know where to start. In all our years of full time RV life our family has never experienced anything even close to this. This “RV Resort” is run more like a low income housing lot than a resort. At check in it is clear THEY are doing you a favor letting you stay here. (I later learned the foul attitude is due in part from all of the difficult situations they have to deal with day in and day out). The sites are nothing more than narrow areas of sand. Some slide outs are literally less than 8-10 inches apart (see photo). The orientation is such that you and your neighbor (who won’t be more than a few feet away) share the common area. The park is predominately populated by long term residents in run down rigs. I’m sure we have all experienced any number of the above and have been perfectly happy. Apparently this used to be a 55+ resort that is now open to anyone. The animosity between the crotchety low income long term snowbirds, management and anyone else staying here is palpable. Yes, we were harassed as were others near us. In all our years of resorts, campgrounds, boondocking etc. this was the first time we have ever felt unsafe. We were supposed to be contacted by management but it never happened. Do yourself a favor and just DON’T stay here.

So all the standard pull throughs are tight and buddy sites. Now doors don’t line up they are offset so not to bad but no real privacy. Tight spots aren’t bad if you aren’t spending time at your site or if all are in the same direction. The offset pull through is a bit much. Luckily we up graded fairly easy if the office isn’t open call the main company number and they can help. Our spot was a back in and tight but they have privacy fences that are nice. The spots are fairly level and gravel. Lots of full timers or a snow birds but should be expected in AZ in the winter. Staff was nice. It was a convenient location for us. I would stay there again if visiting the same family. Not really a vacation spot. 5 stars for our site but 3 overall just because of the other basic spots.
