The camping area possesses significant promise. Regrettably, the administrators seem to deter visitors continuously. They lack regularity in rule enforcement and can often be quite impolite. On this occasion, they levied an additional fee for two children, aged 5 and 4. Our camping companions were visited by a local friend. Almost immediately, the camp overseers were on the opposite side of the camping ground, vociferously protesting about additional overnight guests and demanding payment.

I think this is a really nice campground, if you have an RV there’s plenty of space and if you like primitive camping like me you’re also in luck. The lady in charge was extremely nice they have a excellent store where I was able to buy camp fuel. She brought out her family to meet me! What a nice lady!We choose a primitive campsite to save some money, however, there’s a shower, laundry, volleyball, and many other hook ups if we had asked for it.There is also a swimming pool, and free Wi-Fi.

This was the rudest most unprofessional place I have ever seen! We will never go there again despite we planned on coming back later this summer! They said we needed to pay an exorbitant amount for electricity. There is absolutely no way we needed to pay $200 for electricity for roughly 3 weeks. No other place charges anything like that! It is a new camper that does NOT take that much electricity! They charged someone visiting me in my camper $2 for being there a few hours! Rude and in need of new management! I tried to give a no star rating and the site prevents me or I would have given a negative amount of stars!

Didn’t have any problems finding the place or with checking in. I’m not sure but I think a public road runs through the campground. Most of the traffic on it appears to be campers coming and going. I can hear and see cars on the main road. And you can hear the traffic on rt81. At a lot of the sites the grass needs to be mowed. I’ve noticed a couple other maintenance concerns. If the owners are planning to open the pool this year it needs a lot of attention very soon. I think I’ve only seen one worse pool in my life. This site is one of the most level sites I’ve seen. It’s so level we didn’t bother using levelers. Site 1 is absolutely huge. Looking around the place, most of the sites are not as big as ours. However, most of the sites look pretty adequate.

If you are not white and Christian, I wouldn’t recommend coming here. I asked a lady (manager/owner not sure) about snowfall in Pennsylvania. Next thing I know she’s talking about how FEMA took four years to fix her bridge because she’s white and how she wished she could be black, Hispanic, or Muslim so they would treat her right. She said this twice and then as I was leaving she said Obama let in a bunch of criminals and bad people. These were all unsolicited comments. My husband was in our RV and is an immigrant from Argentina. Needless to say, we did not feel comfortable there and left after a few hours. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ever. As I was paying she also let me know there was no water.
