Beautiful family-oriented campground nestled in the Berkshires and close to Tanglewood, Rockwell's Museum and Lebanon Speedway, Planned activities, game room, pavilion, propane and store.
We recently hired a motorhome from Expansive Horizon's. Despite our longstanding tradition of camping here, it was our first time since the change in management. The campsite switched ownership around two years ago, with most of the positive feedback being linked to the former proprietors. Regrettably, it seems our latest visit may be our final one. The rates have surged significantly while the overall experience was underwhelming. Upon our arrival, the campsite was littered with a foot of uncollected leaves, the toilet paper in the motorhome was damp and lumpy (I've attached a picture), the motorhome was not evenly parked, the shelter was out of order which meant the restrooms, function room and game room were inaccessible, the pond (misleadingly marketed as a lake) was overgrown and unclean, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, the available restrooms were unsanitary, they've discontinued the kids' activities and the management was exceedingly impolite. At 8:30 am on Sunday, I could hear shouting from within our motorhome originating from the other side of the campsite. After conversing with fellow campers, we learned it was the campsite manager, hollering at some campers from his golf cart! Shortly after, my husband drove past and greeted the manager who was on his deck, only to be dismissively waved off. This campsite was never extraordinary, it's located in a remote area. The reason for our recurring visits was the children's activities and the amiable people we've encountered. Sadly, those are gone now, and all that remains is contaminated drinking water and a pond I wouldn't dare let my dogs swim in. I certainly wouldn't endorse this place.

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff and large sites. Only one bathroom on the property so it’s a bit of a hike from some sites but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We only stayed here because we were headed back to Maine in May and campgrounds are mostly not open yet, but this one was. Plus New York State parks require a two day booking during the weekend, which is when we were passing through, and Massachusetts state parks jack up the price exorbitantly for out of staters. This place is mostly seasonal and residents and staff were friendly, but the place is awful. Old and dirty. It looks like they’re trying to spruce the place up, but yikes! There’s a LONG way to go. Stay here if you have to, but don’t expect much for your overpriced campsite.
