Our visit was absolutely delightful! We occupied spot number 8. The river vista was fantastic. Observing the passing barges was a treat. My spouse indulged in a bit of catfishing. The proprietors were incredibly amicable. All in all, it was a superb encounter!

We had site #6, a nice spot on the river. The sites are fairly close together but it didn't bother us, we had a good time. Really a nice place just to go relax. Hiking trails nearby in the Shawnee Forest & state park. Sidenote- I took my golf clubs expecting to play the state park course- I had no idea it is closed now, what an absolute bummer. Yeah, it's been awhile since we ventured this way. Very nice area of Ohio to visit. Like others mentioned, the barge viewing is cool from your site. We will be back someday.

I was so grateful to find this campground and was even more thankful to find out that they just installed sewer so all the sites seem to be full hook up. The family is very hard-working and they’re making amazing improvements to the property. There is a dry docked houseboat that they’re going to be renting out and that would be one thing I would love to do. I have a 30 amp rig so the price will probably be different for a 50.Really enjoyed my stay here and everyone was very nice!

A perfect place for our first family camping trip! Was quiet and calm with a great view of the Ohio River. Julie and the rest of her family checked on us several times throughout our stay. Everybody met new friends including our dog. Playground for the kids with even a nice hammock to lay in.

From check in to check out the camp hosts were extremely helpful and attentive. The park is beautiful with a view of the Ohio River, easy in and out and great amenities. We highly recommend this lovely park!

Beautiful hidden gem. Right on the Ohio River. The owners Julie, Darcy and her mom and dad, are on site and cannot do enough. You will come in as strangers and leave as friends. Will miss them. Watching the barges travel up and down the river along with the incredible sunset views and colors at the start of leaf changes were a few of our favorites. The stars are breathtaking. Do not pass this one by, You will not be sorry.

We had a wonderful fall get away weekend. The weather was the worst steady rain and drizzle for two of the three day stay however the Ohio River view and the hospitality of our campground hosts more then made up for it. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by comp hosts Bob and Anna. They gave us some information not only on the campground but all the surrounding area which we found very helpful. If you enjoy peace and quiet and watching the many barges go down the Ohio River then this is the campground for you. New owner promise a lot more to come in the year ahead.
