We paused our journey to Indian Bread Rocks for an overnight stay and had an amazing time at this RV park! The staff at the office/store were friendly and they had propane, so we didn't need to make any other stops. The place was spotless, and although I didn't pick up on much noise - which could be due to my Hoh condition - it was generally quiet. Initially, we intended to continue eastward from here, but we're now contemplating revisiting this place. Two thumbs up!

To begin with, my intention was not to halt at this place. My vehicle malfunctioned on I10, and I had to drive slowly for about 4 miles till the next exit. To my surprise, I came across Dwayne's Mountain View RV Park. I was under the impression that I might have to repair my trailer either on the highway or in some deserted parking area, but this was an unexpected relief. The charges were $20.00 per night with complete hookups ($16.00 per night if you stay for a week), and facilities included a shop, propane, gasoline, a food truck, and two of the most friendly camp hosts I've encountered during my full-time RVing. Tom and Tracy were really supportive when I was in need. The more I worked on my trailer, the more issues I discovered, which led me to stay for 20 days, fixing the problems and waiting for parts. Needless to mention, I would certainly suggest staying here. Although the immediate surroundings don't offer much, there are ample hiking trails and it's a quick drive to the city (Walmart, eateries, and so on). The only downside might be the regular passing of trains. It didn't disturb me, but it could be a problem for some.

Located between the I-10 BL and a railway line, this site experiences minimal traffic noise, though frequent train passings can be heard as a soft hum. Each spot is equipped with electricity, water, and sewage facilities, and is relatively flat. There's a bathroom with shower facilities, and a laundry room. The check-in point is a gift shop selling around 50 varieties of fresh jerky, assorted flavored nuts and peanuts, jams, olives, and sweets. I particularly enjoyed the sweet and spicy brisket jerky and the chili lemon peanuts. A small food truck is on-site, serving both Mexican and American food. I tried the 3 carne asada tacos, which were fantastic and even came with an extra tortilla to create another taco from the fillings that dropped from the first three. Brilliant! Reservations can be made online at https://www.dwaynesfreshjerky.com/book-a-room. Verizon and AT&T services are good here.

This place is strategically positioned, incredibly tidy, and staffed with amicable individuals. It also boasts a charming small shop selling excellent beef jerky and local honey. The honey is sourced from the local bees. The camping site's laundry facility could use an update as half of the machines were nonfunctional, but the remaining two performed excellently. The staff are wonderful and there's a food truck on-site that serves delectable carne asada tacos. This unique discovery led me to extend my stay to twice its original length.

Around 3pm on a lovely Sunday, we arrived at a location that offered breathtaking views of nearby mountains, some of which were still topped with snow. We chose to halt here as the temperature was predicted to be 36, slightly warmer than the 32 expected in Wilcox, AZ. Given the clear skies, both places might experience a slight dip in temperature. Since we don't have a 4-season unit🧊, we aim to camp in areas where the temperature is slightly above freezing. The park is sanitary, flat, and straightforward, with full hookups, clean restrooms, and satisfactory showers. There's also a good cash-only food truck. However, the campground and store accept credit cards, which is convenient. The store sells a delicious locally-made pecan pie, which is a must-try if you're stopping by. The office and food truck close at 6:15pm and reopen at 7:15am. The overnight stay costs $20, which is a great deal. The location is nestled between I-10 and the railway tracks, but the noise is minimal as the train doesn't honk while passing by. The staff at the store, campground, and food truck are all cordial and welcoming. It's a great spot for an overnight stay.

This is a reasonably priced accommodation option. The petite souvenir store is tidy and well-maintained. The recreational vehicle slots are neat and roomy. The southeastern region of Arizona boasts numerous historical sites. If time is not a constraint, you can embark on several day-long excursions and use this location as your primary base.

This is an excellent outdoor area to pass some time. We ventured around and discovered numerous intriguing places. As locals of Arizona, we were unaware of the stunning beauty of this region. The park is well-maintained and the people are welcoming. We're absolutely planning to return for further adventures, preferably when the climate is a bit warmer.

Indeed, the sound from the railway and freeway is a bit loud, but the facilities and service staff compensate for it. The site offers bathrooms, laundry services, propane, fuel, a mobile food vendor, and internet access (though it's only functional near the shop area) along with complete utility hookups. All these are available for just $20. It's unbeatable value for a brief layover.

We chose this place for an overnight stay during Christmas. We attempted to contact them during the day, but no one picked up the call. We decided to risk it and just turn up. The paperwork did mention that latecomers could check-in the following morning. The location is easily accessible from I-10. There's a shop selling jerky, nuts pie, and more that was open. The food truck on the premises, however, was shut during our visit. The staff was cordial and helped us check-in swiftly. We were handed the rules for the campground and a basic map of the park. We were told we could choose any available pull-through site within a few rows. The park had gravel roads running through it. The site was fairly flat and spacious enough for our slides. Some sites even had trees. The park also had washrooms, laundry facilities, and wifi. We didn't use any of these services, so can't provide any feedback on them. The Verizon signal was 3 bars LTE, but the internet was slow. Despite being close to the I-10 and railway tracks, the noise wasn't an issue for us. We would certainly consider staying here again.

This location is ideal for a short stay, but doesn't offer much as a vacation spot. On the bright side, it's tidy, well-kept, offers full hookups, is reasonably priced, has an onsite shop with enjoyable snacks, offers a food truck, is easily accessible, and offers a secure environment. On the downside, there's frequent train traffic. But we use ambient noise to sleep, so it wasn't an issue. The nearest town offering shopping, dining, and gas stations is a 20-minute drive away, and there's not much in terms of activities within the park.

Far enough off the interstate you can’t hear the traffic, however you can hear trains throughout the night, which go through pretty often. If you have some white noise, you’ll be fine. Friendly staff, great store with gourmet treats. I arrived on Thanksgiving day so things closed early, but it looks like there’s normally food trucks, social area too. Great place for the price!

This makes no claim to be a resort- it is a simple, well-run facility at a more-than-fair price. For those traveling on I-10 and needing a place with full hookups for overnight, this does the job. It is not scenic, but it is more than adequate for the task. For those not camping here, there is a dump station available- pay $5 in the store. Easy to use, clean, even have hoses there so you don't have to take out/use your hose.

Home of Dwayne’s fresh jerky and penni’s pecan pie. The rv park is simple, clean and, much appreciated after dry camping on the Colorado river for the past month. I stayed here for the hiking at Chiricahua national monument, Fort Bowie, and Indian Bread Rocks, all lived up to expectations. I’m driving ms Lazy to the next adventure.

This was my second time staying here. And will stay again if and when I come through again. The place is kept immaculate, and Tom the camp host is my favorite part of the place. Always happy and helpful. There’s a shop that has nuts, honey, candy, jams and more. There’s also a food truck on the premises. Didn’t try the food though. There’s a laundry room and bathrooms with showers that are always super clean. The train come through often but I don’t find it disturbing.

We stayed here three days, then went out in the desert, then came back for two days. It was a quiet park and the staff was very helpful. Bowie, Arizona is a very small town with almost nothing to do in the area. The closest store is in Wilcox, about 25 minutes up the road. There is a train track behind the park and trains run all the time but they just pass and they did not bother us at all. I have no complaints and would stay here again if we pass through the area.

We visited this RV park after staying a week in Indian Bread Rocks. Great place for a 1-nighter as they offer full hookups (water, power, sewage), small laundromat, hot showers, propane refill, wifi, free air, and there is a food truck and small local gift shop here (Dwayne's Beef Jerky signs will lead you right there). Bathrooms/showers were just okay...nothing super nice or overly clean, but after a week of boondocking we just appreciated that they were available. The staff here was also super friendly and polite. There are frequent trains that go by behind the RV park, so there is definitely some noise, but we didn't mind it for a night. This is basically a parking lot behind a convenience store so it's nothing scenic, but it was a great stopover before heading back out to boondock.

This campground is a really nice little place. It doesn’t present itself very well from the road, but once you’re there it’s great! It’s clean and tidy with big, open, level, spaces. The whole lot is gravel. The gas station building is also the camp store and where they sell homemade beef jerky, jam, and other goodies. They have a fountain drink machine and a few other snacks. The people were all very pleasant. There is also gas and diesel, a propane fill station ($3/gallon), a dumpster, a laundry room and bathrooms with showers. There is a food truck with burgers, hot dogs and tacos with some picnic tables out front. They weren’t listed on my Passport America app, but they did reduce our FHU cost from $20 to $16 w the Passport America discount. We did not have to make reservations when I called a few days ahead. There were plenty of spaces when we pulled in Wednesday afternoon. They also allowed us to have an Amazon order sent to their office and held it there for us w no additional charge. We picked it up when we got there. If you don’t stay the night, they do allow you to just dump your tanks and fill your fresh water for $10 or shower for $5/person. They had wifi, but the lady in the office said they were having some trouble w it and it wasn’t very good. We didn’t end up trying it. We had great Sprint and Verizon coverage. I was able to easily teach online video conference through the Sprint service. The train tracks are to the back of the campground. They were quite busy during the day. No one in our family noticed them throughout the night, but we are all heavy sleepers. The trains do not blow there horns through here. They are just trundling by. If you park up towards the office building, you could put a little more distance between yourself and the tracks. Overall, this was a great place to stay a night after our week of boondocking at Indian Bread Rocks. We highly recommend this campground.

For $21 a night for full hookups, (that included tax) we were ok with listing to the very close train tracks noise. It’s pretty loud. I was woken up four times at night, but I’m a very light sleeper. Another family member who sleeps with ear plugs didn’t hear them at all. I’ll attach a photo to show how close the tracks are. The laundry is $1.75 each to wash/dry. There are bathrooms and showers. Hosts are really nice and attentive. There are a few permanent looking set ups, but they’re on the outskirts. They make jerky here and when they’re smoking the meats you end up salivating every time you’re outside. Some confusion around the address: the directions here on Campendium take you to the right place. If you type in Mountain View RV Park or Resort it directs you to a place a few miles down the road. It doesn’t help that there are two signs here one says Dwayne‘s RV park, and behind it is another sign in smaller letters that says Mountain View RV park. So look for Dwaynes and the jerky shop and you’ll be in the right place.

We were going to stay 2 nights to get ready to boondock on the nearby BLM land. Stayed for 6 because it was a neat little place that we could get some mail and a package or 2. We indulged in some jerky, peanut brittle, fudge and a pecan pie for our Thanksgiving in Indian Bread Rocks dispersed camping. The laundry was ok, not great but usable for sure. The host Tom, was a very nice man and helpful. There was a train route relatively close but they didn’t blow the horn so it wasn’t bad for us.
