The park was packed with many permanent residents. It was okay for an overnight stay but you may want to look further if you are staying for longer. Campsite we’re a little close together. This is going to become or has been a KOA, not sure but if becoming a KOA it needs improvement.

***This is now the Midland/Odessa KOA Journey*** Arrival - Fine, everything done online. Used points for a free overnight stay. Tips - Anything longer than 36' is hard to navigate through the narrow approaches and turns. Favorites - Close to I-20. Playground was descent for the kids. Negatives - Packed with oil workers, their trucks, trashy rigs, and very congested.

Seem to be many "permanent" RVs. Not too noisy but quite a few children around. The little store at the front desk was one of the better park stores we've seen. We stayed one night in a 31' class C and used only electric.

Dirty campground. Dog park full of poop. Trash leftover in our campsite. Would never come back. Walmart preferred

Our stay could not have been more pleasant. Staff is on top of everything and keeps the place immaculate. We never use public pools, but we did here because it was so clean. Great shade trees throughout the park, which is rare in Odessa. Easy access off of I-20, as well as into either Odessa or Midland. Tidy, quiet, friendly neighbors all around--most live here long-term/permanently. Internet has been great--two of us working from our RV using the park's internet with a few slow spots, but no interruptions. Great dog park and playground. Location is not exactly picturesque, but you probably know that already if you are stopping in Odessa. Given the natural landscape, the place looks great. We can hear a bit of freeway noise and an occasional train, but nothing obnoxious and no noise from the park itself.

This park has everything you need. Big beautiful trees, a clean pool, shower house, Wi-Fi and level pads. 30 and 50 amp available. Cute little store to get some essentials and snacks. My dog really enjoys the pet playground.
