State park was full, so tried this place on Manistee Lake. Hardly anyone there on Friday afternoon. Bathrooms are new, clean, and single occupancy. The grounds are well kept except a lot of goose droppings everywhere. Some mosquitos with adjacent wetlands. Drop your payment in the dropbox. Nice neighbors and host. Pull through sites available. Meijer just up the road for groceries. Quiet, peaceful, and 4 bars with Verizon.

Tiny campground in the town of bear lake. The camp is simple, few amenities and not much room or privacy but it is close to lake Michigan and right on bear lake. Fishing was ok, swimming ok. Most of the shoreline around camp is concrete chunks and you cannot get into the water. Sites are very close together, expect to not use your awning.
