Checked in at 1pm on a Friday and left on Sunday morning. Nice campground and bathrooms. No issues and had a relaxing time.

I would consider this an 'active' campground. Not quite a party camp, but definitely social gatherings and active. Close to the city, so plenty of people come to unwind and socialize around the fire. But for the most part it's quiet enough at night to not be bothersome. There's a pool, a few lakes & beaches, and other organized activities for all ages during the day. Not a secluded backwoods place, but sites are fairly large and nice. Not much between neighbors, but wide enough to have your own space. Most sites have a tree or two on-site, but very few would offer any shade for the rig. Campsites have fire ring and nice large picnic table. Stayed at the full hookup site. Sites are level with a large pad to for large rigs and support vehicles. There are electric-only & rustic sites as well, but haven't stayed at those

Very cramped spacing between sites. Felt like we were on top of each other. Lots of children and pets so if that’s not your thing I’d choose to go elsewhere. Also, electric sites don’t have water...only the full hookup sites. Not the most enjoyable camping experience.

A early July stay to visit family, this campground was the right location for us. It is a very large campground with many areas for camping, dry camping to full hook ups. Two large lakes are on property with a beach area. Family oriented, with playgrounds (which were closed due to COVID), swimming and biking. Our site was full hook up on gravel/dirt pad and we had a tree. Many of the sites had no shade and it was scorching hot. The downside was we heard ALOT of road noise from the highway. So not very relaxing in the evening.

As I was looking for a quiet spot that offered great scenery, this place fit the bill perfectly. The place is half shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic but there was still much to do. 2 Beaches, biking trails to nearby Kensington Metropark, and boat rentals. Site 191 at the end sits on a hill overlooking the lake with one of the beaches. Beautiful! And you have no one next to you on your door side. Saw many staff members maintaining the grounds regularly and the place is constantly patrolled by the state police so very safe as well. Will return.

I had fond memories of this place as I would come here as a child. Lots of lakes, beaches, play structures, and more open field space than you can imagine. Most of the campground is run down and in need of improvements. The tennis courts & basketball courts are nearly unusable. The pads are so weathered the lines are gone and vegetation has started growing in all the cracks. Tent camping is difficult as all the sites have large concrete pads in the middle of the site. So a tent has to be pitched next to the road or right on the line of your neighbors site. If you are in a RV this isn’t a problem. For tents, site 191 is the best. On top of a hill which overlooks the campground and lake. It’s an end site so you can spread out a bit into the adjacent field. The bath houses restrooms are in need of renovations or at least a severe cleaning. Very smelly. Showers are nearly pointless, warm water at best. For tent campers this campground is best for day use in my opinion. While the Village of Milford is a bike ride away and has lots to do, there are better places to spend a weekend.

Came here for years on the weekends had a blast, returned this yr. Once school got out fri-mon to find out they np longer have activites on the weekends and the middle of June is "pre-season". The grass is higher then the fire pits. The grass is so high you cant enjoy fishing either. I contacted the office and the lady was very rude so proceeded to inform them thru facebook only to be blocked, since they don't want to speak with me on what happend to this campground I will inform others to save their money.

For the past 4 years I’ve been to and I’ve organized camping events here. The staff is always helpful in the office and on the grounds. The area is well maintained and the hook-ups at the campsites work well. I rarely use the shower house since I have my own, but they seem to always be kept clean. On the Halloween Weekends it’s always a full “house” and my group always looks forward to camping here.

I’ve been coming here for 3 years. I only come back because it’s a group event. Wide open sites with some sites with shade. Concrete pads were tent sites used to be. Showers are usually only luke warm with light pressure. Shower house should be updated at some point. Staff is usually clueless. Only camp here if you need to be in the area.
