The Zonnenstrahl Caravan and Camping Ground is situated just outside the town of Nieu-Bethesda. It is a perfect choice if looking for affordable camping accommodation in a quiet and tranquil environment. There are eight different sites to choose from and each camping site has access to power points, braai facilities and water points. The area is fully lawned and there are plenty of shady areas for hot, summer days. A total of 32 people can be accommodated. The communal ablution facilities have two separate toilets and two separate showers. The ablutions are simple but they are kept spotless and the site is cleaned daily 7 days a week, the whole year round. Campers enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the site is within easy walking distance of all the village amenities. The town has a great sense of community and like all country towns has a lovely church, a police station, general dealer store and craft and coffee shops. There is also the Sneeuberg Brewery and the Fossil Centre.
