Tegwaan Glamping offers accommodation in Waterval Boven in a secret garden on Tegwaan Farm. Built in the middle of a century old stone wall enclosure, the Secret Garden glamping provides your own private and secluded spot under the stars. Tegwaan is also an ideal stopover for travellers, being just a few kms off the N4 on a good road, just halfway between Jo’burg and Kruger National Park. Tegwawn Glamping allows you to enjoy the thrill of camping but the luxury of a comfortable bed and beautiful bespoke kitchen with everything you need for a perfect meal. The tent is furnished with a double bed and a comfortable inside sitting area. The toilet (a beautiful dry/compost toilet) is located in a separate ablution unit 20 meters away. There is a separate kitchen built entirely out of reclaimed and locally sourced materials. The kitchen is equipped with two gas burners, and a medium sized refrigerator. Dogs are welcome at an additional charge with prior arrangement. Set just outside of Waterval Boven (one of the most popular weekend destinations among climbers and mountain bikers form Joburg and Pretoria), Tegwaan is a destination in itself: it is the closest place to the Restaurant(-At-The-End-Of-The-Universe) crags, and closely connected to some of the biking and hiking trails. We also have our own ponds and fish, so bring your rope, your hiking shoes, your bike, your fishing rod or your hammock! Your dogs will also love it – and they will be exhausted by the end of the weekend!
