This place was perfect after being in the mountains. We needed a place to refill our water and use the power in service. This camp ground checked all the boxes. It’s a little pricey but worth it! We stayed at site 79 and had great views right on the lake. Would stay here again if in the area!

This was a beautiful state park, but was designed for shorter RVs when it was designed. We had site HS34 and online it said it was level. It ended up being 9 inches low in the front! When walking the park, this was the situation many times over! Our electric/water site was asphalt and had a cement pad for picnic table, grill and fireplace. No Over the Air TV channels. For ATT we had 35 down and 6 up for speeds. Streaming was spotty but worked most of the time. The site had just enough trees to provide us shade in the afternoon. This state park is huge - it has a marina and many day-use areas for picnics and relaxing. It is also very close to Park City and Herber City which are both great to explore and get groceries and eat out. We will be back, but will be very picky as to which site we take.

Loved the valley where park is located. So close to Park city. Spacious sites and nice view from park.

We stayed here for about a week. The sites are well maintained. The lake is low, but the views are nice. We had great cell signal on AT&T at Site 36 (about 100 Mbps down!) and ok Verizon (about 10-12 Mbps down). When we moved to Site 18 to finish our stay, AT&T dropped to about 40 Mbps and Verizon stayed the same. In all, very good cell signal. They have a laundry room that's $2 for washers and $2 for dryers. I didn't try it out. The showers are free and were clean, but the water sprays everywhere. We would definitely return to this park.

I cannot rave enough about this park. It is clean, well kempt, and quiet. The sites are well laid out and offer privacy more often than not. Even when the park filled up on the weekends we did not feel crowded or on-top of the neighbors. The sunrises were so beautiful over the lake and really the views were fantastic all around. We saw several pavilions for rent and a paddle board rental station. It was a bit chilly so we did not get in the lake but we did enjoy some nice hikes around the lake. We saw ALOT of deer during our stay and saw some cute little cabins for rent by the water. The reservoir was low but it was still gorgeous. There were some bugs (not mosquitoes or flies) that may have bothered us due to their number but a citronella candle kept them at bay. The sites are paved, come with a metal picnic table and a nice built up fire pit with a cooking platform. To top it off the cell signal allowed us to work from campsite. T-mobile 5 bars 4G 45 MBPS down and 30 MBPS up. Verizon signal varied and was sometimes 20 MBPS down 9 MBPS up with 4 bars and other times we would have no signal AT ALL. I have one small complaint that was odd. The loop we stayed in would occasionally get a very strong sewer smell for 5 minutes or so and dissipate. It happened about 3 times a day. We decided to not leave the windows open for this reason. There was no dump station in our site but there was one in the park. You are 15 minutes from Park City or Heber Valley. Approx. 45 minutes from SLC. We originally booked 1 night and stayed 2 weeks. We did not check out the bathrooms but walking by it looked like individual stalls with access from outside. You can see the highway but I can't remember ever hearing it.

The sites aren’t level and the showers are like sandblasters.

This is a huge and well-run campground. Lots of loops, all paved. Check the notes or Google Maps satellite about whether your loop has trees and shade. The lake is quite low - extreme drought is obvious by the bathtub ring here. The shoreline mud is pretty yucky so wear water shoes that fit tightly. The swimming area is essentially nonexistant because of the water level and there were some folks that had skin rashes from swimming (we didn't experience this). There's a great little sailing school that looks like great fun. Paddleboarding was OK, lots of motorboats but it was pleasant. Showers do the job but aren't fancy although it's nice to have a showerhouse with five separate compartments and your own door. There are also cabanas you can use down by the beach. I imagine this place is an absolutely madhouse on summer weekends given the amount of infrastructure they have. it's 15 minutes to downtown Park City which has a fantastic library, mountain bike park, and hiking trails. Very easy access off the road, which is audible but not awful. Superb cell phone coverage. You can see the tower from the campground.

From the looks of my site and others, they sloped back quite a bit and off to the sides as well. Made leveling a bit tricky BUT, the place was clean and organized. View was great. Albeit a bit windy while I was there, weather was fantastic.
