The park has been an amazing experience, with a staff that matches its excellence. Our 44ft fifth wheel fit comfortably in the generously sized spots, specifically in loop C. The park is very accommodating for families and is conveniently located beside a stunning lake. The clubhouse is equipped with toys and games suitable for all ages, which our 3-year-old, 8-year-old, and both my spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed. Our navigation system directed us to a less than ideal road next to a gas station just before arriving, so I would advise going through the town and turning right at the bank with the clock. The boat ramp was in excellent condition and we had no issues launching our boat. We dined at Chef Troy's Talk of the Town, a charming local eatery, and the food was fantastic. We will surely return.

An excellent campground tucked in the Alabama Northwest region. You are 45 minutes from everything but still have great connectivity to AT&T for remote working. About 50 minutes from Stoney Lonesome OHV park. No issues with leveling the motorhome in site #13, the older section. There is a newer section with very little trees and lots of gravel on the Northwest side of the park. A private marina for those with boats and easy access to the lake.

Great TT in the Sticks... one of the better TT parks. Section C is newer and very nice. Flat gravel full hookup sites. I would recommend this park if you are doing lake activities or travelling with friends or family for extended stay. Not much else in area if using as a base camp for site seeing. There are 3 cool places nearby, Ave Maria Grotto, Clarkson Covered Bridge and the Northern Alabama Natural Bridge.

Excellent campground. Staff was very friendly. This is a spacious campground and easy to navigate even with a big rig. Loop C is newer than A & B loops. Plenty of amenities, pool, basketball court, disc golf, nice clubhouse with pool tables and other games/lounging, Lewis Smith Lake, nice playground, horseshoes, a lake overlook with gazebo and mini golf though it was missing the artificial grass, not sure if it closed permanently or down for repairs. Cullman has the Ave Maria Grotto, a definite must see IMO, Huntsville has the US Space and rocket museum and Redstone Arsenal Army Base. I didn’t get to it but Birmingham has the Civil Rights Institute and the 16th Street Baptist Church and Tupelo is Elvis’s birthplace. Facilities in my loop are very nice and clean. There is a boat launch and nice dock and a small waterfall behind it as well. Jasper and Cullman are the closest cities, about a 20-30 minute drive. There is a nearby gas station and Dollar General. Verizon signal is very sketchy, and non existent depending on where you are in the campground. I was able to make calls but that was it. They do have wifi, free at the clubhouse and a couple other spots. The have campground wide wifi that you can pay for, I stayed for a week and it was $14.95. They have other lengths of time to choose from. It was pretty good for me, Internet usage was good, FaceTime calls were ok ish, cut in and out but phone calls were fine. Sites are gravel, full hook up, and there are 5 tent camping sites. Minor leveling needed for my spot. There are quite a few permanent campers in the good spots with views of the lake, that was kind of a bummer but not detrimental. Site was very large, enough for another camper to fit. It had a nice fire pit ring that doubled as a grill you could flip over and use and had a picnic table. Some birds and squirrels, nothing exciting. Overall, very nice, clean and quiet campground, would recommend visit again.

This campground is really pretty, right on the lake. We lucked out and got the 1 lake view spot for about a week of our stay, it was beautiful. We stayed in loop C, which is newer. Pros: Quiet Pretty On the lake Spots for boats Little waterfall Playground Pool Friendly staff and campers Laundry is inexpensive (you’ll need quarters) Cons: Verizon isn’t good here Not a ton to do without driving awhile. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Just stayed one night with our thousand trails membership as we drove through. Site are nice and spacious. Full hookups at all sites. Strong ATT signal. Weak Verizon signal. Would like to come back when it’s warmer and we have more time to use the lake and pool.

Full hookups and nice park with spaces spread out and plenty of common areas. Highly recommend this park. Nice pool, clubhouse with pool tables, fireplace and Childress area. Playgrounds for the kids, boat ramp and dock. There is also a viewing area that overlooks the lake with deck, tables and overhang.

This campground has tons of amenities with things to do for people of all ages. The staff and people there were all great. My only complaint is that every campsite is a big distance from the water with no real good views of it. The bathrooms are all clean and the sites are spaced about right. We stayed in section B for the 30 amp hookups. The sites are first come, first served. Section C is newer and offers zero shade at this point, but I expect that will change in the years to come.

One of, the best, if not the best Thousand Trails Park’s where we have stayed. An out of the way location, but nice spots on a huge lake. We stayed in the B section since we have 30 amp service, but the park allows first come-first serve. We had a lot of shade in B, though the C section has some nice spots, very clean and level, so we may stay in that section in the future. A bit of a run to get to bigger cities, though Arley has the basic mom and pop grocery, Dollar General, and gas.

This park was beautiful and a great place to stay. Sites are large and easy to get into. Cell signal was not the best. We work from our RV full time and need a lot of wifi. Luckily our AT&T hotspot was able to handle most of what we needed but verizon and sprint were useless. We have a pepwave for sprint and even that didn't help. The park was great and the cove was cool to swim in. Arley is a dry county and there is not much to do. There is a small grocery store about 15 minutes away but you'll have to go further, about 35 minutes to get to a bigger town or for hiking. We went to Jasper twice for food and supplies from the Walmart and stopped at the chick fil a too. I highly recommend this park! Just know you will be driving a lot to get anywhere. If you are just going to enjoy the cove for the weekend this place is perfect! Oh I also hit a tree while in the park and our RV has a dent. Thats 100% my bad but I am still upset about it. I think we had one of the best sites at this TT campground. The birds, flowers and grassy areas made for a very relaxing time. We enjoyed the small town of Arley and Lewis Smith Lake. Although we had very little cell service, the campground had several convenient locations with free wifi. The campground and Arley are a little out of the way but the campground was worth the drive.

This park is beautifully managed. I mean so big, a nice new park, boat dock, place to picnic on the water, so much green for the kids to play and explore, walk the dog. Laundry room in the new c area was new with brand new and clean washer and dryers. Sites were huge and clean with rose bushes between! There are so many great hikes, don’t miss out on the Creekside Civil War Museum the owner is a hoot! Great burgers and shakes at the food shack, we plan to come back:) Cell service for Verizon was though, their paid internet works ok.

Absolutely incredible stay. The staff takes such pride in the campground and it shows. The manager and her husband really treat the campground as their baby and are constantly making sure your stay is going well. Down to pruning the rose bushes between the sites nothing is overlooked. The bath house was incredibly clean, I’ve seen people’s bathrooms in their homes messier than these. I work remote full time, the section we were in (the newer section) had spotty but useable reception. I did purchase wifi and found it to be more than adequate for working remotely. The sites themselves were absolutely massive compared to other campgrounds we’ve been to. We nearly could park our class c sideways in the spot. Plenty of room to back in the rv, put the tow dolly on the other side, and park the car. And still had plenty of room for the fire pit and picnic table.

It really is hidden, and out of the way. The playground was a big hit with the kids, the pool was closed and we didn't bother with the mini golf. It looked like a lost cause. Everything was nice and green, friendly people all around, and the staff was very hands off. The shower house closest to us didn't have hot water, and the faucet for our site leaks permanently. They didn't seem to mind. There is almost no reception for Verizon, certainly not enough to do anything. If you pay for WiFi, it is the most undependable reception ever. You will either get five seconds or five minutes, then it will boot you off for who knows how long.

The boys loved it, the club house was fun. The free WiFi at the clubhouse was out due to recent lightning strike. We’ll be back if time allows.
