My partner, our dogs, and I spent two nights at this campground, staying in our compact travel trailer. We made our reservation via email and phone calls. We were slightly taken aback to discover that it was a religious campground, possibly a local spot for family and church group retreats. The people were friendly, the sites were flat, the facilities were sufficient, and pets were allowed. There was no aggressive religious preaching and it suited our needs perfectly. The campground was a blend of long-term RV residents and visitors. There was a significant amount of land, some of which was not in use, including a mini-golf course, a fountain, and a small carousel. The property was abundant with trees and we enjoyed breathtaking autumn leaves during our walks with the dogs around the premises. There was a basic building available for use as a chapel or for other gatherings. A small fee was charged for shower use, around 50 cents, but the bathrooms were clean, warm, and well-stocked with toilet paper.
