Explorers Lions Rock Rapids offers accommodation in Hazyview on the banks of the iconic Sabie River, approximately 4.5hrs drive from Johannesburg. The camp offers guests a central base from which to explore this beautiful destination at leisure. Explorers Lions Rock Rapids offers glamping-style camping in Hazyview in the form of 15 luxury tents, accommodating up to 30 guests. All tents feature an en-suite bathroom, tea / coffee making facilities, mini-safe, air cons and a covered patio overlooking the Sabie River. Central guest facilities include a reception, dining area, lounge & bar, a swimming pool and an open air boma on the banks of the Sabie River. Breakfast and dinner are included in the rates. There are a number of restaurants and farm stalls within easy reach offering delicious lunches and light bites. Whilst spending time at the camp, guests are encouraged to enjoy the prolific bird-life where guests are welcome to partake in a brief hike on the grounds, or simply sit with a chilled chardonnay on the banks of the Sabie River, taking in all that nature has to offer. Guests are also welcome to take part in a 30 minute tour of the macadamia plantation on the property at a minimal surcharge.
