One might assume this location to be loud, yet it becomes silent post 10pm. There are no specific camping spots, instead, they instruct you to assemble your tent on the lawn situated behind the restrooms.

Great drive-ins. The restrooms are tidy. The washing machines are decent, but the dryers could be better. The sleeping conditions are tranquil. The restaurant is charming and fairly priced... I would revisit.

I needed to do work for a day and this was the ideal spot for us to get full hookups and wifi and good phone reception .The wifi was more than good enough for my zoom meeting. Best of all is the laundromat. It’s clean, open 24 hours and cheap! The staff at check in was very friendly. If you stay here be sure to eat at dukes grill. The brisket and corn bread was outstanding. We stayed 2 nights. Would stay again if I was in the area.

Although they say “accepts big rigs,” this campground is NOT big-rig-friendly. We have a 44’ class A motorhome. Were told they had only 1 site that would accommodate a rig of our size. ALL their pull-throughs are for rigs “no longer than 35 feet.” So we took one of the larger back-in sites in the back of the campground. The back-in sites were all in a low-lying dirt area, with virtually no gravel. On our arrival day, all was dry. We figured the site would be dusty, but it would work. Heavy rain our first day turned our campsite and most of the other back-in sites into water-front properties. The dirt sites became deep, sticky mud pits. My tow vehicle is a lifted 4x4 Jeep Wrangler with oversized tires. I had to put it onto 4WD just to get out of my campsite. The motorhome was surrounded by mud and standing water, and was clearly trapped. After complaining to the staff, a lot of sand was brought in by a front-end loader and a Bobcat, to fill the “lake” in front of our RV. But there was still mud and standing water in many other places throughout the back-in section of the park (where they put the larger rigs). I was not even sure we would be able to get through all the new deep sand that was brought in, since no fill dirt or gravel was put on top of it. I saw another class A try to back into another of the sites. His rear tires dug deep ruts in the muck and coated his tires with the sticky muck. This campground needs some water-drainage engineering done, or at the VERY least, have MANY tons of gravel brought in. We will not stay here again!

Visiting the Capital Reef and Goblin Valley for the week and very thankful to find a laundromat in Hanksville. Machines in good working condition. Cute cabins on site plus full hook ups.

The campground is beautiful and the sites are spacious. The views are incredible! It is very nice and quiet, however, the sites are very open, so not much privacy. The kitties at the campground are a nice friendly welcoming committee!

Looks like it hasn’t been kept up for some time. Barely a dirt parking lot. Water pump keeps shutting off. Laundry room is mostly out of order. The entire staff of 1 acts like they could care less

Our site was littered with garbage and surrounded by tall weeds and yard debris. Full hookup but the sewer STINKS even when not being used. The bathrooms were filthy and in poor repair - shower doors don’t close, no shower heads, lots of mildew and water pressure changes whenever anyone flushes a toilet. This is basically a glorified parking lot. On the plus side, the Mountain View is nice, the laundry is cheap and it’s a pretty quiet park. I hope the owner makes the necessary improvements - there is potential here.

The friendliest and most helpful place so far Green grass, immaculately clean campground and facilities and just outright helpful people. Stopped to dump - $5 then returned for a shower - $5. Needed to catch up on some work. We were able to park, get coffee and food and then carry on I was so impressed that coffee appeared at my outdoor work table and I didn’t even have to go looking for it. Excellent service!

Needed the hubby to have signal for work while the kiddos and I played. There is a tower right in town so we had great Verizon signal. There is wifi at the campground that was ok. If you want to check in early, please call them because at least when we went at the end of March, the office didn’t open until noon. The bathrooms are old but plenty of hot water with decent pressure even with multiple people showering at once. The doors on the shower areas do not lock. The laundromat was $2 to wash, though I didn’t use the facilities. Be warned that weather forecasts for the area turned out entirely unreliable. I checked multiple websites and even radar maps for rain and it was wrong so many times. Even when it was actively raining outside the weather apps and radar showed no rain in the area. It made it tricky for planning slot canyon hikes, and Goblin Valley is a slippery muddy mess in the rain as we found out. We made it halfway through our Goblins Lair hike (on a morning that said 0% chance of rain) when it started to pour and hiking back up that slippery clay like mud was a “fun” experience. There are other fun hikes “nearby” like Little Wildhorse, and Horseshoe Canyon. No privacy between sites, but you’re not squished in either. Full hookups. No grass except off behind the bathrooms in the “tent” area.

We stayed here off season, so there were only a few other campers here. My wife used the women's bathroom and said it needed maintenance & cleaning. The site was mostly dirt with some gravel, but it was quite level. We have a pickup camper and were in a pull-through site that might have been a little tight to exit with a longer RV due to the site spacing in front. In early- to mid-March there aren't many RV campgrounds open, and Duke's was adequate for our needs while passing through, and other reviewers seemed to have similar feedback.

Dukes Slickrock RV park could be a great place. The good points: This RV park is very convenient to a great many of the areas attractions. Electric was good, Water was good, Sewer connection was good and has spring loaded lids. As we are here in November. There are only a couple of others staying here. Which means the internet works great. We have four out of four bars with ATT cell service. The sites are reasonably level but need to be graveled. (but as Dukes experienced a flood in Sep 2021) I would give them a pass on the condition of the ground. Cons: We travel with a cat and our cat loves to walk on a leash. The parks rules say one has to keep their animals on a leash. This apparently doesn't apply to the owners Shar Pei dog & 3 cats. They are free to roam and leave deposits every where. And one of their cats keeps trying to get aggressive with ours. And their dog has stalked our cat while we both were walking it. (that is scary) And the cats keep trying to crawl inside our engine bay and inside the rear cap of our motorhome which makes all kinds of noise at night as they claw their way up the fiberglass. It is unacceptable that both my wife and I have to walk our pet and carry a walking stick so we can keep her safe from the owners pets. Minus the issues with the owners animals. We would stay here again.

We were there during the slow month of July. Most other guests stayed in the cabins with AC. The place was clean and the restaurant was good. My husband used the bathroom and said it was OK. Not sure if it would be better or worse during busy season. There are some small trees between each spot.

People were friendly, bathrooms were not bad and I never complain when I can take a long hot shower. Had service, poor internet, but just needed a place to stay on the journey to monument valley. I felt safe!🤍 If you don’t want to pay I highly recommend checking out the dispersed camping outside of goblin valley state park. You can camp up against the mesas. Incredible!
