Following a challenging journey through Orlando's congestion, I had anticipated a pleasant location... however, this area is significantly rundown.

The elite sites have pull-through concrete slabs. Nice Palm trees, and the laundry facility is top-notch. The pool is clean, and the campground is very secure 24x7. Close to Disney resorts as well. Avoid the back section where full-timers dwell. It's not as nice for various reasons.

Pros: - only stayed here for a night, and got in at dark, but seemed to have good amenities Cons: - Tight, tight, tight! Tight driveways and corners. Tight pads. We drive a 40ft Class and if someone parks there car slightly into the driveway area, makes getting in and out of your spot hairy. - No free WiFi. And we had no cell service. You could buy WiFi through third party, but seemed like a hassle. Just another way the Orlando complex makes money. - Trees not trimmed. My biggest pet peeve for an RV park is when they don’t trim their tree limbs. We’re at 13’ and hit a few tree limbs driving to our spot - Muddy! Not their fault entirely since it’s Florida and it was raining all day. But it was a mess setting up. - Expensive. It was a Wannabe Disney Wilderness and for the price, I wouldn’t stay here again. Maybe all Orlando RV parks are like this because they can gouge you. But I’ll take my chances elsewhere.

I am not a negative person and not one to start drama because I hate confrontation. So I’m not writing this for that, only to warn people what to expect. This campground is nice and conveniently located to all things Disney. However, I am super disappointed with the whole thousand trails/encore company. Our truck broke down on the way to Florida and we had to be in the area for my husbands job. We had tried to get an RV site but there was nothing so we booked a cabin in an encore property (2 hrs away from his job). We shortened our stay from 3 months to 2, paid an insane amount of money and all was good. We have been here a month already and the office called and said they did an “audit” on our account and we now owe them almost $1000 because they “accidentally” gave us the wrong rate. They were “sorry for the inconvenience.” So now we’re out 6K total to stay in a cabin that is sub par at best. We have tried multiple times to speak to a manager but they are always conveniently never around. And when I finally got in touch, they hung up on me. I am sorry to even say anything and it is not like me but the customer service and the runaround we’ve been given is not okay. It’s just not right. This is not the first time this has happened. Every time is a headache. Thousand trails is such an amazing tool for families on the road but needs a major overhaul in how it is ran. If you read this far thank you. If you’re looking at thousand trails to strictly save money then it’s fine, but if you want good customer service, morals, a good experience, and quality then it may not be for you.

You can order WiFi for $20/week from Fastwave but the front desk said it was spotty so we relied on Verizon which was only 2 bars and less than 5 MBS. I can hear the freeway at night but it’s tolerable and most campers are very quiet. The LOCATION is the main benefit since it is close to all the Disney parks. It’s packed in tight but there are some trees yo look at. I think you can pay extra to have a concert pad site.when I called to reserve I was not offered a choice. You are not allowed yo pick your site ahead of time. It feels safe with a 24/7 security at the front and a card to lift the crossing arm.

2/26/21 Not too far from Disney and close to several retail locations. The park is rather flat and great for bikes. There is a lovely area that is non-sewer pull through sites that make up a small part of the park and they have free honey wagon service during the season. Otherwise the rest of the park is FHU and the rumor that they put all Thousand Trails users in the non-sewer area is bogus... we've never ended up in the non-sewer area nor had a problem reserving a site... not that we'd mind the non-sewer sites, because they are nice looking sites with more room than a lot of the sites near the front of the park. The pool is nice and the laundry facilities are very well done. This is really a nice place to be during the winter months. The WiFi is decent and Verizon is less then passable. In fact, something is going on right now as Verizon was better a few weeks ago but for the past day has been hanging around 2mb down and less than 1mb up. It's 6:30 am, well within the typical window of best internet speeds before the world gets going. AT&T is at 108mb down and 21mb up. If AT&T ever offered hot spot data for a price that wouldn't break the bank, I'd get a modem the same day. I'm sorry to say that Verizon is becoming a sad joke and I hope they get their stuff together soon. If you have satellite, you'll love this park as most sites have clear open sky. They receive packages here for you, but like many Thousand Trails campgrounds are now doing, they charge $5 a package. 3/30/21 - site 358 Back again and Verizon is really throttling the hot spot at 4:45pm with 0.3 down / 0.6 up. AT&T 33 down and 8 up. Verizon iPad is 3.5 / 0.63 The WiFi is kind of hit and miss... it's usually good to excellent but sometimes it just drops out for a while. Longest drop that I've experienced was about an hour. Occasionally the speed stinks but, like I said, it's usually pretty good. It's a bit of a stretch for $20 a week, but if you don't have a choice, you have to pay it.
